It's been so long since I was last interested in Star Wars...

Yoda
... that I can't sit through a YouTube video bashing the latest episode.

Thank God the excessive computer animation put me off of it long before it got "woke."

I've got some pretty damn mixed feelings about this whole Baby Yoda thing...

I don't have the first clue who Kylo Ren is, and can't be arsed to find out. That's how long ago I gave up on it.

I dunno why they thought it was a good idea to do this, or WHY Yoda is back, much less as a baby. I haven't really ever paid attention to Star Wars. I don't know the story on any level. All I remember are clips of Yoda and the righteous shit he said. And how cute and lovable he was as grown up Yoda.

I'd never considered Yoda was ever a baby, although I'm sure on a "laws of existence" kinda level, it's a no brainer. But I'm not sure ever being a baby really fits in with what Yoda's all about. Not sure he was ever meant to be seen that way.

The dude in the black outfit/mask has a pretty sexy voice though.

Considering that I am a massive Yoda fan and have Yoda pictures, figurines and dolls out the wazoo...

I should think Baby Yoda is the cutest thing ever.

But if I'm being honest, I don't really feel anything.

I REALLY love Yoda.

So...

A version of Yoda who is a baby and can't talk?

Of what use is that to me?

That's all I'm sayin'.

I think they are scraping the barrel bottom with the Star Wars movies, and in a time when society is being trained to accept the destruction of human language, natural roles of men and women being skewed, perverting everything, and permanently damaging people's minds and bodies...

It's no surprise the corporate Hollywood machine would pull some shit like this.

Yoda was really the only good thing in Star Wars...

And it was because of his WISDOM, his delivery of that wisdom, and... of course, because "old" Yoda IS cute enough already.

If Yoda can't speak and therefore can't deliver the wisdom, then why in the hell is he being presented? Just cuz "cute"? Uh sorry... I want meaningful, not just cute.

Lucas and Spielberg cannot refrain from putting a cute kid or some such in every movie.

That's one thing that irritated me about the prequels, and helped drive me away from Star Wars, to be honest. Especially Anakin Skywalker as a kid, and that creature with the whiny, high-pitched voice calling him "Annie" constantly. The Ewoks were tolerable, but that "Annie" shit was gay as fuck.

Kids' films have to appeal to adults on some level if you want them to keep coming back.
