Got a box of chocolates for Christmas and I got all pissed off like a cunt bitch because I thought they were all double chocolate (chocolate with chocolate filling) and I was like this box of chocolates is fucking useless...

But then weeks later I find out there actually are good pieces in it.

Extraordinarily first world problems, and yeah I did feel bad about getting pissed off. LMAO. I was hungry at the time and I'm very unpleasant when I'm hungry.

I used to wonder why nature designed (some of) us to get incredibly unpleasant when we're hungry...

I used think it made no sense, after all, if we were very hungry, wouldn't it be more beneficial for it to make us extra nice just in case somebody would have mercy on us and give us food?

Then I realized that it makes us angry and full of rage because that's the only way to guarantee we'd be brazen enough to steal or otherwise do whatever we had to for food/to survive...

Because you can absolutely fucking never count on the good graces of other people. We'd all be fucking dead.

I turn it upside down, bite off the bottom and then suck the syrupy innards out, tongue the cherry and then close my mouth around the rest of it and let it melt before I chew it all up.

I think those strawberry filled candies and the chocolate filled ones
were the only ones I ever liked. In those fancy boxed chocolates kind
of candy. Whitman's samplers and such.

My go-to's were the chocolate covered cherries, Snickers, Peanut M & M's,
uuuuuuh, Mr. Goodbar and Nestle's Crunch. And fudge. The home-made Christmas-time
fudge was best. Although I remember getting some from a couple different places that
was good too, but only around Christmas time.
