What it becomes is a frightful thing.
I want you to know that mayo doesn't maintain its original quality after freezing

lol , things I never even wondered about
but yeah interesting would never have imagined , does it just change the texture or the taste also ?

I'd imagine the water would crystallize out, leaving a big oily mess.

Oh it's nasty.
It turns into mostly oil and then a glob in the middle.

The glob is probably egg.

That's a good point, Creamy.
I try to get the kind made with olive oil usually.

I love the kind with soybean oil, they all have it inside. It's so hard to make a homemade that taste that good.

I actually just read this article yesterday...
https://eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2020...011620.php Of course we all knew that soybean oil was bad like a decade ago but they're just now telling us since we've had long enough to sustain permanent damage from it.

It's the way the soybeans are processed that makes the oil so bad.
Soy beans in general naturally aren't bad... Processed foods are just pure death, that's all.

I made my first scratch cake last week and noticed how easy my body processed it. I looked at the ingredients on a packaged cake mix and it had soybean oil in it among a bunch of other crap. It does catch up with people eventually but I think our body organs wear out with age anyways so watching what you eat when you are young doesn't make a difference. I ate very healthy for many many years, whole foods and made no difference. |
