There are mixed opinions on whether or not this is a valid thing to do, or whether it's just lazy and dumb as shit for a plethora of reasons. But I argue that it's fine... if it doesn't kill the leaves or attract pests, who cares? Damn plants are lucky they're even still alive under my care anyways?!

Wouldn't it kill them? Its acidic? I used to grow huge weed crops 20 odd years ago PH is important to much acid they just die.
