Cumberland Gap

Are any of you guys familiar with the Cumberland Gap? I think I've seen MO mention that she was from that part of the country. Is it worth seeing/visiting? The pics online look beautiful.

Yeah it's really beautiful... definitely worth seeing if you're sort of in the area anyway.

The area where KY, TN, VA, and NC meet is the prettiest area around there... https://imgur.com/a/69XTTHZ

Through Barbourville, KY to Gate City, VA, down to Kingsport, TN, and you'll have seen the best of it. I think 58 is one of the main roads through there.

I've been a lot of places, and that part of Virginia over at Cumberland Gap is about the prettiest you can get that involves the color green.

If you ever take that drive down through there... you're gonna know it when you see it. Pretty unforgettable actually.

Thanks MO. Cumberland Gap is now on a short list for my wife and I to visit. We have relatives in Missouri/Arkansas so it could be piggybacked on a trip there.
