Yep, it's gonna be another cat thread. Because you can never have too many of them, am I right?

Last night they assumed their positions before I got into bed, and I had to slide in between them.
These cats have done some pretty unbelievable things, which I'll get to later.

In Donna's world, feeding your cats canned cat food was "feeding them stinky." She got me into the habit of saying it.
I usually start trying to round up my cats about an hour before I go to work so they can eat their stinky. Audrey showed up at the last minute today. Elvis had arrived earlier and waited for Audrey so long that he got bored and left again. So Audrey ended up eating stinky by herself. Elvis had to wait several hours until I got home before he got a crack at the leftover stinky.
Elvis did a couple of bizarre things today.
While I was standing on my porch, I saw him disappear into the side of a deep ditch and re-emerge a few minutes later. It looked literally as if he had stepped into an interdimesional portal. I've never seen a hole or depression in that spot big enough to hide a full grown tom cat. I'm definitely gonna investigate tomorrow.
Then, when he came in to eat the leftover stinky, he ate for a few minutes, then causally sauntered into the laundry room.
I asked him what he was doing.
I could tell some crucial action was being diligently deliberated in his fuzzy little skull.
Suddenly, he shook himself off, and a huge cloud of dirt came flying out of his fur.
