Question
Did anyone plug in their iPhone to sync today and get an error box followed by prompts to update/restore?? With no other choice??

I have a theory but I'm not saying what it is. I wonder if this happened to anyone else. I should go look on Twitter. It was VERY fucking strange and then when I read what the update was about, it all made sense...

Hmmm...

I'm paying way too much money for this phone for it to be so glitchy all the damn time.

So far it seems like people are assuming the forced nature of it is just a "glitch"...

And maybe this update wasn't released today, I just haven't plugged it in for a few days.

Here's a tweet that explains what was in the update that raised the red flag for me, so I don't have to use the keywords and type it...

Fucked up shit, y'all.

You “updated” my phone with 13.5 WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I expressly REFUSED that update!
I want it removed
IMMEDIATELY or I’m canceling all my @Apple
accounts & tossing my iMac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone in a garbage dumpster!!

iPhone update 13.5 -- when Apple put it in black and white that they are spying on your every move and every sound.

Mine actually says 13.4.1 but whatever.

This is an old iPhone that I don't even use as a phone at all, lmao.

I'm just blown away by Apple's gall, pretty glad I'm an Android user.

I mean they're ALL spying on us but fuck man, Apple really takes the damn cake.

I never use iphones since the S, but I did used to use macs back in the day.
But you get the same thing with samsung some weird update and they usually pretty good.
But sometimes they seem to go fucktard.

Yes, all iphones did a recent OS update. They probably come out 3-4 times a year.
