This is something that has been on my mind for many months now...

Sort of just in the back of my mind, my opinions and curiosities about it sort of slowly forming.

Really curious, does anyone have one or two good examples of someone who's SUPER good looking whose parents are butt ugly??

And the way you judge whether the parents are ugly or not is to look at photos or something from when they were circa 20 years old or so. You can't look at somebody's 45 year old mother and judge whether she was ever mega hot. You can't look at somebody's bald 50-something dad and judge whether he was ever truly legitimately fuckable "back in the day"...

We want examples of folks who on photo were proven to be butt ugly THE WHOLE TIME, yet still came together and produced physically attractive progeny.

It's VERY SIMPLISTIC to just use a blanket explanation of sexual attraction and reproduction to explain why we go for people who look good as opposed to people who are ugly...

"Speaking in terms of evolution, we only choose/have a preference for non-ugly, healthy looking mates..."

Like okay, yeah, no shit.

But the whole thing is DEEPER than that. It just is.

That OVERLY SIMPLISTIC explanation is just to save the feelings of the uglies out there and not make them feel like shit for being ugly.

Cuz I mean it takes all kinds in this world...

I'm not saying ugly people aren't useful and don't serve a purpose, like if they didn't, they wouldn't EXIST.

But I am just saying...

Can someone incredibly good looking be born of ugly folks??

Can two INSANELY HOT attractive people begat offspring who are healthy, yet turn out to be ugly???

I am just so curious about this, cuz I ain't gonna lie...

When I am looking at potential sperm donors (geniuses of course), I don't tend to go for the ugly ones...

I cherry pick certain qualities and other traits and I go for really specific stuff.

If a dude is super old, but he's still a genius and I find his intellect hella attractive, for example, I DO still consider him a potential donor even if he's not the best looking (and never was)...

But the exceptions I'll make in that regard are fairly rare and generally, if somebody's not attractive to me on a physical level, then regardless of their intellect, I am super unlikely to want to get shot up with that guy's sperm.

I'm just saying.

And there are other traits that even the most perfect specimens have which make me question whether or not they would actually make good offspring, regardless of how desirable they may be otherwise.

It's a pretty deep rabbit hole honestly, but mostly I was just curious if anybody has one or two well documented (with pics) examples of somebody GOOD LOOKING whose parents were ugly as shit.

And obviously, if one parent is super hot and the other one is just normal or maybe kinda not particularly that hot...

It stands to reason that their offspring has a chance at being at least decent looking, if not well above average.

I think even if two crazy hot people got together and reproduced, there isn't any guarantee that their offspring would be good looking just because they were.

There's a CHANCE they could come out ugly...

Seems like the odds of ugliness would be pretty low though.

So does it matter if two people are ugly, or good looking, or one is good looking but the other one is just average or ugly...

If that were the case, then doesn't it sorta complicate things and bring a whole lot of mediocrity into the picture when a hot person reproduces with an ugly person??

it can work but I think it requires the same sort of approach the soviets used in their sports programs matching up athletes where you aren't necessarily putting the two top prospects together to mate but the combination of attributes results in a 'better' offspring

I've thought about this off and on since I made this thread...

I've concluded that just because two people are hot and they reproduce doesn't mean their offspring will be attractive...

And I think it's for a variety of reasons. First of all, yeah the two people may be hot, but do their features even fuckin' go together? If not, their kids could come out looking weird. Like say you have a hot exotic chick with an olive skin tone and you've got a hot ginger dude, and they reproduce... their offspring might look strange, or maybe not, that's just an example of two people with very different looks.

But I can see how shit could go awry.

Is it a genetic mixture thing that you could NEVER guess beforehand? Like is it something that goes deeper than whether two people are hot and share similar enough features??

And I've been considering the part that karma has to play in the way people's kids come out looking too...

What kind of situation were they conceived of?? I think it matters.

What kinda moods were the parents in, what was going on or had been going on for the weeks/months leading up to conception, how do these people know each other, are they happy people, are they violent people, are they greedy, are they lecherous?

Because you can look one way on the outside, but what are you really on the inside that other people just don't know? Could explain why some people's kids turn out the way they do...

Hell, not even just in the looks department. How do you explain people who never knew their alcoholic parent, but they turn out to be an alcoholic too? That's just one example.

And just to clarify...

When I reference "uglies" I'm talking about motherfuckers who were born ugly.

You could be a burn victim but still be sexy and whatever aesthetic injury may have occurred anytime after birth doesn't really effect the genetic/DNA situation.

Of course we could go deeper on that topic too and tie it into the sort of "karmic" aspect that we were discussing above. If you were mega hot but you got fucked up somehow in an unfortunate accident, but you still have a good attitude about life and you're not bitter...

You'd be way better off than a person in that situation who became bitter afterward. Those bad feelings really influence things on an epigenetic level.

So that means the person with the better attitude (way of being) has a better chance to produce healthy attractive offspring. That would be my assumption.

It's all about lust.

The more powerful the lust, I bet the more attractive the progeny would be, granted neither parent was ugly or weird looking somehow.

And even if they had some weird looking features, doesn't necessarily make them unattractive. Unique features can be very attractive. That's where the "eye of the beholder" thing comes into play.

You'd have to make sure your sperm donor was well fed for several months (at least) before his loads would be acceptable.
