Take this flannel robe for example...

It's a great color, but look at that pissweak collar.
Unacceptable.

Not the worst I've ever seen, but useless nonetheless.
The waffle knit robes, though very nice in all other aspects, have one of the worst collar selections there are.
You almost never see a waffle knit robe with a super wide, flippable collar.

Ha, look at this!

It's your standard edition grandma robe!
I wouldn't wear it, but I do love that iconic classic look.

OMG it's a super long hoodie, check it out!
https://www.amazon.com/GRACE-KARIN-Hoodi...B07W1Z7BQR
Wow that's smart!
You could wear that out of the house. I'd wear that in the summer.
Not my preferred look or clothing style, but then again my main qualm with hoodies has always been their short length.
So this seems like it would be the solution to that problem, yet I'm left asking myself, when is a hoodie not a hoodie anymore, and merely a hooded robe?
I guess the zippered style, the drawstring hood, the standard hoodie hemming... they all contribute to keeping a hoodie a hoodie, no matter how long it is.
The matter is settled... I shall have one of these in my collection someday.

I might like this if it were available in other colors...
https://www.amazon.com/Alexander-Del-Ros...B07SSJJBXQ
The only reason I don't like it is because of the zipper.
I dunno, it's just not very cozy knowing there's a rough metal zipper there, I wouldn't want that around my bare skin either.
The classic robe closure with the cord is much more comfortable and diverse.

Alexander Del Rossa needs to come down a tad on his prices too...
Somebody needs a brand that sells a great variety of robes at a reasonable price albeit on the higher end for most people.
I love robes and even I am just not willing to pay retarded prices for them.

And there are many others like it. You'd wanna get that one in large-ex-large.

I love this color, again with the fabulous chartreuse-esque colors, though not true chartreuse...
https://www.amazon.com/Flygo-Flannel-Bat...B07JPL31MF
When I saw the variety of colors this came in, it literally melted my heart...
Not much variety, but the colors they do have are so unique.

The yellow one is insanely beautiful. Without a doubt the least atrocious plain, no form or definition (classic style) bath robe I've ever seen.
I still wouldn't buy it/wear it, not even for around the house because there's no pattern or definition in the stitching, but it is absolutely gorgeous, and really, might be worth having just for the possibility of modifying it somehow.
Maybe I should find a way to make these atrocious, flat, plain velvety classic bath robes non-ugly. Seems too daunting though. I'd rather just find something that is already ready to go, because I modify everything anyway, too much work to start out with a piece that requires effort from the get-go.

That sort of light purple color you see around, I think they call it lavender...
It's the "bad kinda purple" LMAO.
That's the kind of purple that sucks. Some shades of blue suck too so it's not inconceivable that a shade of purple sucks.
All that said, I'm sure it has its place in the world and as long as similar colors appear in nature, I don't have too much of a problem with it.

Oh wow, check this out...

This robe actually has the ultimate cuffs on it. They are like hoodie or nice sweatshirt cuffs.
I wish they all had those!!!
