There has been some strange fuckery afoot.
I'm just saying. I'd LOVE to just have it be paranoia. That would be so great. Even better: Mercury in Retrograde. But it's been taking place for over four months now. First, there's the weird shit I mentioned in another thread with letters disappearing and reappearing as I type them. I've tried everything humanly possible to troubleshoot it and it's still happening. Far more disconcerting is that my Pro Tools files seem to be getting subtly altered. For those who don't know, Pro Tools is a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that allows you to record and mix many tracks of music and sound. The subtle alterations are: tracks being moved around ever so slightly, so that songs sound more and more out of synch. Or tracks being slightly warped for a similar effect. I'm not saying I am 100% sure that's what's happening. But the reality is, I DO know some fed-level elite hackers. And they've shown me some fuckery that they were quite proud of, and I was like "note to self: remember not to get on their bad side". But I just can't relate to how that is funny or entertaining. I seem to have a knack for attracting men into my life who get jealous of me and deal with it by trying to gaslight me. I realize that sounds like I think I'm more interesting than I am (aka delusional). But I don't. In fact, I think it's fucking bizarre. I don't see what there is to be jealous of. But I can FEEL it. It's like a low-level hatred. I never feel that way toward others. Period. I'm so into myself and my art and so forth, I can't be bothered to even think about people on that level. It's a pocket of social behavior that I've never understood. An ex gf of mine recently said that if someone installed a camera in my home she would constantly spy on me. And I'm like... dude... never mind the fact that you'd totally be betraying our friendship... but how is that even interesting for you? I couldn't give a F U C K about ANYone's private life. Never mind that it would be totally horrific for me to willingly invade another's privacy without their consent -- I just flat out wouldn't be interested. Period.

Dude honestly...
Tonight is the first I've truly noticed of the Mercury retrograde and it seems pretty fucking hardcore. I've been having problems with some tech that isn't related to the internet. Had a few weird glitches take place here on the forum too, certain settings that should have been in place but weren't... Some of it was manual changes that I had to make so human error accounts for that, but some of it isn't accounted for. And I could go into other stories of similar things that have happened lately too, even before the retrograde began. Only dating back like a few weeks max though. Not months or anything. I haven't had anything like you describe, but tonight is FOR SURE heavily Mercury retro influenced.

Like the non-internet related tech... No reason for it to happen. And I ain't gonna really go into detail too much about stuff that IS internet related but... I dunno man, increasingly I've had reason to believe the internet is haunted. I'm gonna just leave it at that.

Hitting SO hard today. I can barely function. I don't even know how I'm typing right now.
I was in a coffee shop and the entire place was falling apart. The barista was anxiously telling me "Our oven is broken. Our coffee machine is broken. Our fridge stopped working about an hour ago. The power is going off and on. We're totally out of 1's. I'm here alone. I'm leaving so much stuff out of what's happening today". I said "Mercury in Retrograde is all up in this motherfucker today", and she was immediately so grateful and overjoyed to have some kind of reason for it. She was like "OH FUCK... IS IT ON? WE'RE IN IT?" I was like 'yeah', and she did a little bounce and was like "Thank god". lmao

Yeah some are worse than others and this one is PRETTY DAMN OBVIOUS.
It's mostly affecting machinery of all kinds, but having a totally unaccountable effect on computer related stuff too.

You gotta remember...
Mercury retrograde isn't screwing things up just for shits and giggles... The purpose is to expose faulty systems and force you to look at things from a different perspective, to search out alternatives, to learn improvisation methods... That's the purpose of Mercury retrograde. |
