Is it too early to start the countdown to Interstellar's 6th birthday?  :D
24 days away. 2+4 = 6.

People focus on 5, 10, 20, 50, 100. Exponential leaps.

But I think 6 is relevant because it indicates we are now in the second half of Interstellar's first decade. 7, 8 and 9 are less relevant, more redundant, so 6 is our last chance to really celebrate until 2026. Plus, I felt underwhelmed by 5. It should have been more. I'd like to make up for 5's lackluster celebration and double down on 6.

Totally Tangentially -- I wonder if people are going to make a big deal out of 6/6/2022? (2022 = 6).

The only reason to make a cake multilayer is if you want to put different types of frosting or filling between the layers.

I think that's excessive and it should simply all be put on top of the cake.

I love frosting!  In fact I wish I had a cake where the frosting and cake were reversed!  Like where you have frosting on a regular cake you would have cake, and where the cake normally is you have frosting of the same thickness.  Yeah, that’s the ticket!   T

I'm not much into dessert baking and whatnot, but I have a history of making single layer cakes to satisfy that desire we all get for cake now and then.

For me though, on the ultimate dream cake, the icing has to be whipped.

I'd LOVE to make a single layer cake topped with whipped strawberry icing and lined on top with sliced strawberries in a pretty shape. Like a heart shape!!!

I made a noise upon reading this that was a strange hybrid of "Awww" and "Yummm". It came out like "AawwwuuummMMMmmm". I've never made that noise before. 

I'd offer a hard and super-immediate YES, PLEASE to a cooking show! First of all, you would look totally hot covered in flower and honey and thyme. Let's get that important fact out of the way right out of the gate. But secondly, it would be really fun and cute and educational.
