Attaining villainous levels of chill...

The secret is something I like to call sit-laying.

I wrote a thread mentioning this last year:

But I'm not just gonna sit down... I'm gonna SIT LAY. I want MAXIMUM, villainous levels of chill.

As I type this, I am sit laying on my bed, my monitor is turned around and brought down to eye level. I am actually reclined between the legs of this MASSIVE teddy bear I have, his name is Billy Badass. He makes a PERFECT pillow/cushion to support my body in this new sit-laying position I have devised.

My setup is mostly the same, except I am not using the big teddy bear as a cushion, I haven't found a need for anything extra beyond the pillows I already have on the bed.

The idea is just to get into this sit-laying position. You're not laying, but you're not sitting all the way up either. It's just pure and total chill...

It's all about the way you position your body, and the attitude you take on while you are sit-laying.

The hardcore chill music helps to get you into the maximum chill state, and I also have nice soft lighting going on...

I have my signature red lighting turned on, and it just takes relaxation to the next level.

Once you learn the "villainous chill" posture, it's like you can tap into this max chill state ANYTIME (and probably anywhere, barring any obvious exceptions).

It's definitely a life-hack, but you have to attain that level of chill at least once in order to really get acquainted with it.

Now, I realize not everyone necessarily NEEDS to reach villainous levels of chill...

But for anyone who does...

Honestly, just get yourself into a nice comfy sit-laying position, preferably on a bed...

Dim those lights, put on some absolute chill tunes, make sure you're nice and warm (this is important) and relax into it.

I am watching YouTube vids and stuff like that while I chill, so I am staring at a screen, but it doesn't interfere with my relaxation or my mood at all.

Once you tap into that inexorable chill...

You never forget it, you can always reach it. But the body's position is absolutely crucial.

That's my experience with villainous levels of chill.

Here's the album I originally reached this maximum chill zen zone with last year:

This is true for the relaxation you can achieve by sit-laying particularly.

Zen masters can reach their zen zone in any position, I'm sure.

But this applies specifically to the art of villainous chilling of the sit-lay variety.

So we talked about the positioning, but what of the attitude?

What is the attitude of villainous chill?

Well, other than attire, the attitude is virtually undetectable.

That's because when you're villainously chilling, you're not giving off any attitude...

That'd pretty much go against the whole purpose.

When I say attitude, I basically mean what you're choosing to wear.

Take me for example, in the past I've been known to sit-lay with a cool pair of sunglasses on while I browse the internet, lmfao!

I'm just wearing regular glasses right now, but I AM wearing this crazy badass long leather coat I was randomly given today, it looks like something straight out of the Matrix! I couldn't believe it! LOL.

So I am sit-laying here on my bed as it's like 85 degrees outside (sun is setting though), in a full length leather coat, and it's damn near August...

This is what I mean when I say VILLAINOUS CHILL ATTITUDE.

How are you expressing yourself, even when you're chilling? Even when you're by yourself? How are you making yourself comfortable and embraced? What does that look like for you?

That's your maximum chill attitude right there.

Yup.

I'm sure having a good quality stereo with bomb bass doesn't hurt anything either...

But you could also use a good pair of headphones or earbuds if you didn't have that.

And really, some people may not need any music at all in order to reach this state...

I know it sure took me there and dropped me off, but lol, everyone is definitely different.

This Haircuts For Men album just makes this whole thing feel like pure and total heaven to me right now.

It really does.

It feels like heaven.

Staying awake can be a challenge at first, but you get used to it.

It's actually important to train your body to recognize when you're sit-laying with no intention of going to sleep...

It's gotta learn that when you get into the sit-lay position, it isn't for the purpose of sleeping, it's for the purpose of staying conscious within a state of pure and total relaxation, can I get an amen...

It's totally normal to fall asleep eventually, it's just so damn comfortable...

But not until you have enjoyed the maximum chill zone for as long as you wanted to.

I started having some technical difficulties during my sit-laying session tonight...

And I am totally unfazed.

Like I don't even care if I can fix it or not.

Literally.

This is what the maximum chill zone does for you.

It's hard to even break out of the deep chill state to even try to fix something, LOL!

The relaxation is just straight up out of hand.

The way you move and hold your body is sooo important, that's a good lesson to take away from the Chillainous McVillainous sit-lay position too... for real.

The way you position your body can totally dominate any situation, and it doesn't even have to be in an assholish way, it's a declaration of your individuality and personal space.

What's always sort of astounded me about the maximum chill zone is the fact that it FEELS like you're on some kinda drug...

But you're straight up not.

I was stone sober when I invented sit-laying in 2020, and I'm stone fucking sober right now.

Could have fooled me though...

I mean I dunno what I'd compare it to...

Drugs that relax you I guess.

Doesn't really feel like anything I've ever experienced, it is honestly a type of relaxation completely unique to itself.

It's absolutely amazing...

The fact that you can reach this state with absolutely no substances, just by positioning your body properly, by adjusting the ambience, by throwing on some mega chill tunes...

It's incredible and attaining this level of chill should be required learning and should literally be taught to people.

There's no way chilling like this isn't good as fuck for you.

Of course you couldn't do it forever or you'd just be a couch potato, lol.

But I don't think it's that common for people to reach true pure and total chill like this.

It's almost like another level of consciousness...

Only it's not outside of you, or in a 'higher' dimension or any of that airy-fairy crap...

It's like it's INSIDE you.

It's somewhere you reach inside yourself, your own body, and your own being.

LOL the arrogance of thinking you invented sit-laying...

Can we just take a minute to appreciate that?

Okay, I'm over it. Yes, I invented this. Just let it happen.

Relax.

I really enjoy being slightly too hot.

It feels great.

I took off the leather coat and hung it up in the closet.

I'm rocking my favorite bathrobe now.

But proper warmth is indispensable for me when it comes to villainous chilling.

And just in general actually.

I gotta stay warm all the time or I just get pissed off.

No amount of sit-laying is gonna fix that shit!
