Grab yourself a pack of literally any flavor of Ramen (Maruchan) noodles you can, but preferably pork (holy grail) or shrimp flavor. Any will do though.

Fill a small saucepan halfway-ish with water, then salt and pepper the water, add garlic and onion powder...
Bring it to a boil and add in diced onions, mushrooms, and chopped spinach (I use all frozen veggies and the flavor of frozen mushrooms cannot be topped).
Boil them til tender, then add in the noodles. Give it about a minute until they're soft, then pour in the flavor packet, along with a fair bit of oregano, parsley, and cilantro. Remove from heat, let it cool for 5-10 minutes and enjoy.
well I live at the butner NC facility and get the maximum 24 ramen noodles from commissary so I appreciate these recipes

The frozen mushrooms are what take it over the top and if frozen mushrooms haven't crossed your mind very much in your life up to this point, be careful... once you know how fucking delicious they truly are, you'll never go without them again.

The one herb that I will utilize fresh is cilantro though... mmm, my God.

I always have at least 3 bottles of dried cilantro around though, it is the #2 most important dried herb, with oregano being #1 and parsley being #3.
I also keep a ton of dried spearmint on hand for dessert dishes, and tea.

I believe you're innocent as fuck.
This is why I always keep Italian seasoning around. It has oregano, marjoram, basil. Sometimes it also has sage and rosemary.

I lived exclusively on chicken thighs and ramen noodles for several weeks when I was broke once. I'd boil a couple of thighs with salt, black pepper, garlic and onion powder, and basil, then add in the noodles.

Oh heck yes... what a HUGE step up to add some real meat into the Ramen. Added vegetables, meat, spices and herbs... that transforms Ramen noodles from a "nutritionless" food into something that can really be good for you, save for the huge amount of sodium in it. But the more water you add in, and the more fiber you put in, the more it's going to help your system deal with that sodium.

I would throw out the seasoning packets, which are mostly MSG, and use my own spices.

Agh, I love the MSG laden iconic flavor of Ramen...
It's wrong but it tastes so right!!!

Oh, I'll eat the MSG packet if I'm just fixing a quick bowl of ramen.
But if I'm making my own recipe with the noodles, I use other things for flavor.
