Russia is going to lose.

Seven senior generals killed.

Forty thousand troops killed, wounded, taken prisoner, or MIA.

Thousands of tanks, aircraft, and other vehicles destroyed.

Ukrainian losses aren't nearly as high.

Russia's assertion that Ukraine is an artificial nation created by the USSR is moot. Ukrainians have a national identity now. And they will fight for it.

There are many mixed Russian/Ukrainian families in Ukraine. Eventually, people back home in Russia will start getting real news of the war, not just government propaganda. And they'll turn against Putin quick when they learn what he's doing there.

The Ukrainian prime minister refused to be evacuated. He's going to stay and fight, which will inspire his countrymen to fight.

Russia may totally destroy Ukraine physically, but the people will never accept being annexed into Russia.

I dont believe that propaganda.
The west is doomed

Nikolai Patrushev: I am sincerely convinced that we cannot develop successfully without a clear understanding by the whole society of our national goals and objectives, the full depth of our spiritual and historical identity. Therefore, every inhabitant of our country, every Russian from childhood should know and understand why we all live and work as a single people, what we strive for.

The West, however, continues to act in line with the inhuman doctrine of the "golden billion", which implies a significant reduction in the world's population in various ways. To do this, the West has vilely created an empire of lies, involving the humiliation and destruction of Russia and other objectionable states. They spit in our eyes, but claim that it is God's dew.

Reminds me of Taiwan and China.

I don't believe Russia will disappear as a nation any more than I believe Ukraine will. But Putin is significantly harming Russia in a way that'll take a long time for Russia to recover from with this war.

Maybe this will finally be the catalyst that spurs Russians to give up on the "strong man" form of government and embrace democracy.
