Reminds me of my childhood home. They started making these kind of unfortunate architectural changes in the 1950s-60s.

At this point in his online career, he could get someone in his viewership to take him in and give him a leg up while he's working on getting his gig going in one of these sadass little towns he's fantasizing about. He's not taking full advantage of all his opportunities, which leads me to believe he's likely seeking excuses rather than real change. If he doesn't change his life he will probably die. That's just my take.

We come from and are sustained by miles of layers of filth and decay.

But how many of these layers are the remains of actual buildings?? It's a fascinating concept.

The planet just collects dirt and debris and grows and grows... it expands from the inside, gets all stirred up by natural disasters, gets hit by asteroids. It's layer upon layer of former life and civilization. And there's still life inside it.

Beneath all the manmade structures that are buried, beneath all the tunnels, there are the more natural layers that are home to inner earth lifeforms that couldn't survive on the surface.

22:12 it seems like Jon always wants to suggest some type of intentional bombing or warfare that has "cooked out" these structures, but I dunno. I think it's gotta be something a lot more widespread than that. If it came from solar activity, it'd have to be legit micronovas. It couldn't just be strong flares. There has to be extreme solar ejection for it to translate into fire/heat on the Earth's surface.
