There's no reason to Dan, this site is like an episode of Seinfeld... there's no direction.

I added a second light to the shed, balanced lighting on my bedroom side now.

Is that a tablet in the background? I was wondering what you use to get online when you get tired of a smartphone. Phone screens are just too small to get any business done. I guess you could make it work with a wireless keyboard though, I have done that before.

I've actually used a wireless mouse with a tablet before too, so it can work.

Yep, it's a tablet, with windows. I am getting another laptop when I upgrade.

I hotspot my phone's wireless data though to my tablet.

I'd always have a tablet, phone, and laptop in my arsenal. Those are all doable with a mobile lifestyle. If I'm settled down somewhere, I'll have a desktop too. My 7 year old Lenovo Yoga is still one of my favorite computers... paid $300 for it new and the damn thing is a tank, runs like a new one. It's amazing.

Yup, with an unlimited (no contract) plan, there's no reason to even pay for a traditional internet connection IMO.

If you were livestreaming or something, I'm sure fiber optic internet would be better, but otherwise... no need for it these days.

If you can get unlimited data on a monthly plan for like $70 max, why the heck would you pay for internet too? Cuz you're gonna be paying for your phone plan no matter what, so why not condense them into one bill? That's the way I see it. I bet more and more people are doing it these days.

Nice, that's a good setup too. I haven't had a desktop for a while. Yeah, I always use an external mouse and keyboard so I can use a laptop or even this windows tablet that I picked up a few years ago.

I had a laptop too that I used to work on.

This will eventually be a partially enclosed patio area.

I'm going to try to get a septic system permitted next year. I have heard that it is pretty easy in Arizona, and they may allow an "alternative system" such as an outhouse. But I bet they let you install your own system, so about 2-3K, and I will be able to have a residence permit here.

If I get a septic system approved, owner built, I could easily flip this property for ten fold (literally ten times) what I put into it. These things are not easy though, that's why people hire this stuff out. Luckily I have an engineering degree, and have worked some construction jobs too.

I was just talking about my outhouse fetish the other day and how I dumped a guy for hating on outhouses.

Outhouses should be REQUIRED on any property that is over like 2 acres of land.

You guys ALREADY know how I feel about this, but all the red tape around outhouses really pisses me off.

I want to get on a soap box over outhouses, TBH, it's a cause worth fighting for.

I don't have the time right now but if I did, listen...

Seriously, outhouses are the most basic toilet. They just want these highly engineered systems installed, to make you pay more. I am going to request an outhouse, and if not do a homeowner built septic.

Chilling in the studio. I think I'm going to call it a studio, and not a cabin.

I can't wait to finish the studio, but been to busy.
