As if another human is somehow "above" them and has "authority" just because they have a degree, please.
Most of the reason doctors know anything is because of experience and having encountered many cases and scenarios.
Otherwise, they're as clueless as everyone else, sometimes worse.

We really should anthropomorphize death so people will be less scared of it. Maybe make a cute cartoon character or something. We could call it Deathy McDeatherton. Maybe give it a high pitched voice, not like full on Alvin and the Chipmunks or anything, but something cute and endearing.
