So I've had a plasma lighter in the past...

But the design wasn't great on it, I considered it to be dangerous. You certainly couldn't just throw it in a bag and go on with your day as if there's no danger that the button's gonna get pushed and it's gonna start arcing and catching shit on fire, lolol.
Definitely get one with a secure design, lockable cap if possible.
These things are very mesmerizing to watch. And they sound cool too. It's just a very pleasing experience to use one just to see it operate.
It's like a plasma globe, but it's a lighter.
Here's the problem...
Apparently it creates ozone and I dunno how dangerous it is.
It's small, WAY smaller than a plasma globe, so how dangerous could it really be??
I try not to press the button and watch it for TOO long.
Just until I feel satisfied.
A couple years back, I ran down the battery in the other plasma lighter I have because I wanted to store it safely with no chance that the button was gonna get pushed.
I didn't think about the 'dangers' of pressing the button for that long, didn't realize the whole ozone thing and I'm just not sure how dangerous these things really are.
I can't seem to get a straight answer searching around online.
But man...
You wanna talk about a fucking EPIC "fidget toy", these plasma lighters are...
Well, they cover a lot of bases. They're good for all the senses, they sound cool, they're entertaining to look at, the lighter device itself is nice to hold, there's a cap that you gotta flip on it, also cool.
I just wanna know how dangerous the ozone is from a little lighter like this, how bad can it be?? How long can you safely push the button and run it without generating a dangerous amount of ozone??
Anyways.
That's all I wanted to say.
