As for liking posts, I have always been into the MyBB forum platform setup... I think it's the best out there, I've tried all the other ones. It's all down to personal preference at the end of the day.
I think there's a voting feature on here... but I like to keep things as clean and simple as possible. I think it's important to keep as much of a distinction as possible between language based platforms and the social media platforms, wherein non-linguistic participation ('liking' or 'hearting' posts) is encouraged rather than actually making a statement of individual opinion.
