Well I appreciated you pointing out the beauty of that one little comment... "No." It's always cracked me the hell up. Like when people ask super long and intense questions, or bring up a multifaceted argument about something and somebody just says "No." ROFLMAO. I'm easily entertained. But it's also a matter of interpreting people with this platform, the internet, where you don't actually hear people or see them, and it depends so greatly upon having a good sense of discernment about how they mean what they're saying. It's something which does take a lot of practice, and even then you can get it wrong/misunderstand sometimes.

That is pretty funny! It's so dismissive. LOL!

Yes. It's hard to read intent into plain text.

that one simple word can be taken to mean so many different things.

Is it, no...  you don' want to look like her? No, you don't get to look like her? No, like...  just no... I don't want to think about this?

haha
No, I wish you would not want to look like her but you can do what you want.

Why do you say that? Is this a certain friend of mine?

I think what this guy means is  he doesn't want gg-his angel- to be diminished  by wanting to be something else , that is gg and she must never think she isn't  a topline grade A  female.  Confidence is a big part of hotness  .

I found a super hot pic of her randomly...

I reverse image searched who was in the pic and thought her name sounded familiar, then remembered this thread.

I can't find any YouTube clips of her in that specific movie though.

But I did find these, look how sexy...

Nothing like a cigarette to kill a hot chick's hotness.

Yeah it's definitely a weird thing, I mean it's been phased out in recent years, but in the past it's been a big thing culturally.

Don't get me started on the history behind that conspiracy!!! It was done on purpose...

Operation "Freedom Torches"...

https://www.historytoday.com/miscellanie...influencer

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torches_of_Freedom

The Native Americans knew that tobacco was sacred...

https://keepitsacred.itcmi.org/tobacco-a...obacco-use

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4815564

It was something people held as sacred and dedicated their lives to...

http://www.mpm.edu/content/wirp/ICW-166

But they were smoking PURE tobacco, no chemicals.

So this tradition was taken and turned into an industry.

Well, I did briefly enjoy a mini-Jane Birkin rabbit hole, but the whole thing met an unfortunate and unexpected end.

Jane was involved with Serge Gainsbourg who was a big deal on the music scene in France for decades since the 1960s.

He was 18 years older than her. She had a kid with him, but eventually had to leave him because he was a violent alcoholic. So Jane and Serge's daughter Charlotte made some music with Serge when she was 12...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemon_Incest

It caused a huge scandal when it came out, but Charlotte has always defended the song as "innocent" yet she admits the video was cringe. She's even played it as a closing song at her shows long after the whole scandal.

Looking into all this has lead me to conclude that there is something unbelievably wrong with the French. They seem to have a pedo culture revolving around girls primarily and it seems to really lean toward incest.

I didn't know this about the French, but thinking about it and looking back, I have to say that I've seen signs of it in the past. I never put it together though, I just thought it was a weird blip and didn't represent France as a whole. Now, I think they're super fucked up as a culture.

It's really fucking unfortunate because now I can't really enjoy Birkin anymore, she was also weird as shit when it came to inappropriate shit involving teenage boys. I was so disappointed to find this shit out. What the fuck is wrong with these people???

Serge made some bitchin' 1970s French pop too...

It's exactly the kinda shit I'd be so into. But I can't enjoy it or listen to it at all because of what I know about them now.

I guess there's plenty other '70s French music to look into though, so all is not lost. But wow, yeah, just really disappointed in these people. What a shame.

Jane Birkin's first daughter Kate Barry struggled with drug addiction and fell off a balcony in 2013, assumed to be suicide although some people doubt that. I will say that the likelihood of her being victimized by Serge is pretty high, and like so many other people who were abused as kids, she ended up using substances to dull the pain, and ultimately died from the problems the abuse in her childhood caused.

It's really sad shit, I'm disgusted. I wanted to like Jane Birkin but unfortunately, I 80% dislike her now. I can appreciate some of the qualities that I originally found enchanting about her, but the rest just totally ruins it.

What the fuck is wrong with the French??

Whatever. Fuck 'em all.

Also, look at Southeast Asia, former French Indochina, with their ladyboy culture.

They set the groundwork for all those middle aged expats today.

Wow...

Sigh

The whole Thai prostitution and transgender thing breaks my heart man.

Those people are enslaved by their government, they can't speak out negatively against the royals else they face imprisonment or worse, just like North Korea.

They're an unbelievably oppressed people.

3:57 - 4:46 when she asks these businessmen questions like, "How did you feel about the news of the king's death?" they CANNOT be honest. Even if they fucking hated the king and everything he's allowed to happen to their people, they have to act like they're in mourning.

It's horrifying and I am just so sad for them and all other countries who experience this kind of vile, warped oppression. A lot of them are Asian countries.

Archaic... and to think, we expect to go to Mars and colonize space? What a joke.
