Wild Horses is an excellent song...

Gotta be honest, there are fairly few songs I actually like that much by the Stones.

I know, I know... sacrilege.

Wild Horses is one of them though... agh, amazing. Totally amazing song.

I have heard some remakes of it... now THAT is sacrilegious. Wow. The fuck are people smoking??

The song reminds me of a book called "Where The Red Fern Grows"...

I read it when I was about 12 or so. I played the song a lot whilst reading the book and it's forever emblazoned in my mind.

This is the scene...

I don't like many songs by them either, Trix.

I remember crying my eyes out reading Where the Red Fern Grows as a kid!

Awww, it's so cool that you read it too! Yeah, I cried too, it was an awesome book but just very sad and not really the type to leave one with a good feeling.

Guy on guy is an unnatural, disgusting act. Two women is art.

The way I see it is…

Women, in their natural form (as in not brainwashed with some terrible modern feminism) are symbols of nurturing, comfort, loveliness. That’s worthy of admiration, by men and other women alike.

Men, also in their natural form (as in not the soy/estrogen polluted overly feminized variety) are worthy of worship and praise by women.

Men shouldn’t go around worshiping and praising other men. They’re supposed to hold the line as masculine pillars of logic and reason. Men are supposed to keep us grounded and out of the airy-fairy regions which women are so adept to occupy.

Having said that, men who are more feminine are to be worshipped as well. Some men are just smaller and more petite, even softer. That doesn’t mean they are not to be worshipped the same as big burly men… but they are still there to hold the line, like all the other men, and they shouldn’t be getting all gay with each other. And for God’s sake if they do, just do it in private and make sure nobody finds out. Women don’t want to know about that shit… we want men to stay holy at least as far as we know, so that we can continue to worship them.

Hahaha!

I love that.

Actually, I loved your whole post Trix. I only highlighted the part that made me laugh out loud... "getting all gay with each other" LOL!

But I love how thoroughly and thoughtfully you answer questions. So smart and on the mark too. Every time.
