Shame. Somebody needs to make a REAL retrowave breakaway channel that only posts ACTUAL good retrowave. Not crap with vocals... And if there are vocals, it'll be ONLY the ones who stay TRUE to the genre... Why can't they all be like Kristine?

Epic winning taking place with this track. These days I'm just grateful when there aren't any heinous vocals ruining the track. The '80s style guitar should always be used instead of vocals... If ever you're tempted to sing to a retrowave track and you're not one of the approved retrowave singers... Do some guitar instead.

This guy has a very acceptible retrowave singing voice. He doesn't have some of those gayass modern quirks that some of these singers try to bring onto these retrowave tracks.

While I'd never listen to this... ever, I can say that the vocals are acceptable. They're not applying any of the absolutely retarded year 2000+ styles that have cursed the music scene. So it's not totally repulsive and unacceptable. But these vocal styles are 90s at the earliest. Which is still retro enough, I mean fuck it... it's better than these obnoxious sluts bringing their retarded vocals and dumbfuck songs about serial one night stands into the retrowave scene.

Oh my God this song is PURE FIIIIREEEE. I looove the broken up vocal segments, fucking BRILLIANT. It's so weird and FRESH, yet perfectly retro. Oh my God WHERE is the retrowave radio station that actually plays on the car radio and plays nothing but THIS kinda shit all the time?! Seriously... A retrowave station where every song was like this... There WOULD BE NO bad songs, there would be no skippable songs. You could just let it play. HEAVEN. OMG.

Great song, and... great vocals?! Shocking. Great female vocals on a retrowave song... An absolute rarity. I wonder who this singer is... We have another totally qualified female retrowave singer, gotta know who she is... I Google'd some of the lyrics and nothing apparent showed up. Hard to believe those vocals really came out of the 21st century, and if they did, well damn, looks like there's hope for vocals on retrowave tracks after all. |
