I've witnessed this phenomenon with several people...
It would seem that being at least a little tipsy does substantially improve grilling abilities, especially as it pertains to steaks.

I feel like I've made this thread before.
If I have, I'm not sorry!
It becomes really hard for me to remember what threads I've made and which ones I haven't.
I use the search feature before I make one if I'm not sure about it.
It becomes hard to separate threads from thoughts which I've had several times in the past.
The two go hand in hand to the point where I can't tell them apart.
yes i think drinking a bit while cooking does help , it loosens up our mind so we are more creative and you need a bit of artistry while cooking to make stuff have better flavours
beer while cooking steaks outside and champagne while i cook indoors
Fuck no, you end up under cooking burger patties and realizing the patties are too pink and not caring and enjoying a raw subpar pink burger.

It might be possible, for some, that drinking enough to relax could bring about a little more patience when grilling.
And patience goes a LONG way when cooking on the grill/smoker.

Are you sure that this is not due to you drinking as well? Being a little bit drunk makes you enjoy the food more I think
