This can lead to undesirable situations wherein you play out karmic lessons which would be avoided if you were in tune with yourself and your purpose.
The synchronistic flow of the Universe is constantly guiding you by way of intuitive nudges, messages within seemingly random events, sensations and emotions within your body, etc.
To ignore this directive is to hamper your progress and set off a series of events which cause delays and ultimately require course correction by the Universe.
Course correction can be an altogether unpleasant process.
