And actually while we're at it here, let's go deeper...
I could tell the cat WAS looking me in the eyes because I could feel the eye contact.
You know how it is when you make eye contact and you sorta feel it all the way through yourself, it almost sorta burns your neck.
And get this...
Because I couldn't see that clearly, my other senses were heightened and I noticed the cat's movements and other subtle types of 'language' and I could totally tell the cat was looking at me in the mirror like "WTF are you doing?"
Which leads me around to the eyesight topic...

And how we all see the world in a unique way based on our individual eyesight...
We all see the world (naturally) the way we're SUPPOSED to see it.
If you really think about it, none of us are living in the same world at all.
If we didn't have corrective lenses, things would be a lot different.
And I think it's important to go without them and familiarize oneself with what the world would be if we didn't have them.
