I like how Steve is raving about some random dates in a clear plastic vacuum-sealed sleve from some random Middle Eastern military ration.

There's another American MRE reviewer, I watch, who always goes on about the random chocolate bars from European military rations.

He calls them high end chocolate. As though the MRE makers are going to put really expensive items into a mass produced military ration.

It's just bacause American off the shelf dates, chocolates, coffee are really low quality compared to low end off the shelf items from other countries.

Oh yeah, another American MRE reviewer always calls the canned meat/fish and chocolates from European MRE's "gourmet".
