He's promising everybody salmon and saying they're gonna "cook salmon"...
What salmon?? Salmon?? In the desert? Isn't that kinda fucked up? Surely he isn't talking about the Alaska Salmon? Doesn't that stuff need to be refrigerated?? Like, how does that even work?? I dunno, sounds sketch to me. I mean, it all sounds like fun and whatnot, but... The salmon, I just dunno.

I dunno I mean...
Salmon in the desert just doesn't seem quite right. What does go along with the desert? I think maybe something like... Chicken or beef, maybe just have a Mexican cookout.

You gotta look at where you are. PACNW? Salmon? Sure. Anywhere cooler temps, coastal, fish works fine. But if you're in the damn desert?? You better stick to things that can logically exist in the desert... Like land animals. And food that matches the landscape. Beans, orange/red peppers, fuck, carrots even. Just anything that makes sense. Salmon in the desert don't make no sense.

You're risking food poisoning when you go and do some shit like that...
Take the same salmon in a cool climate in a part of the world that isn't just 100% contradictory to salmon's existence, and it'd probably be fine. Try to do the same thing in the desert though, and I really dunno how well that's gonna work out. Stick to cowboy foods... Jerky (land animals), beans, bread, etc.

I'm not saying Zane can't make great salmon or doesn't know what he's doing or whatever...
I just think it's important to remember that a certain level of common sense is necessary when it comes to food and the safety thereof.

Zane says he's going to Tampa, FL to look for shark teeth in a few weeks. Sounds pretty dangerous, definitely not a place where he has much protection. Wonder who he knows down there who is facilitating his visit? Zane has no idea what he's getting himself into with the southeast USA. |
