It's basically headed toward Alabama by way of central Florida.
But I'm sure I'm totally wrong.
In my opinion the only question at this point is will it survive its trek over Florida into the Gulf?

I personally don't think so... I think it'll basically go directly up through Florida, erring on the side of the Atlantic.

But it's too early to tell.

I need to find a satellite dealio showing the Gulf and see what's happening with that system over there.
Quote:Could you be so kind as to tell us why in this prediction gif Dorian becomes surrounded by green as well as there being lots of green on many sides of it at the same time far off in the distance?

Ummm, because it's a FUCKING MONSTER, honey.

That's why.
Yeeeah...

I mean I just don't wanna believe that it'll actually make it to the Gulf considering the fact that it'll do some pretty serious damage to the east coast of Florida but...

Fuck, I mean it really could happen.

I am still saying no, but.

Shit looks bad.
Very sad...

People want to hate Trump so much that they're disregarding the danger of the storm.

Lefties are so severely mentally ill.
Quote:Dorian is now a record holder: farthest north a category five storm has come up the Atlantic in recorded history with the fastest winds in Caribbean history, following the hottest June and July in recorded history...

This is a total fucking disaster.
Quote:If you think about it; it’s an amazing show of faith in forecasters that the entire East Coast of Florida hasn’t evacuated.

It's a show of something, but that something sure ain't faith...
All indicators are that it's going south...

Can't find any good satellite shit though.

I dunno if this pic changes or if the link will keep working but basically...

The angles of those 'X' marks tell the story...

Especially the one in the Gulf...

Dorian is heading southerly.

How much, who knows... but he will not be making a turn north.

Fuckin' terrible mockup but I think it'll be something like that.

they can't even predict the path of a hurricane over the next few days yet they want us to believe they can predict climate over the next 100 years

LOL
Basically I think it'll cause a bunch of damage along the east coast of Florida but cut off between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine, then head northwest.

nod

Absurdity off the charts.
The system forming in the Gulf will either merge with Dorian and bring it out into the Gulf, or push it northerly on a path through Alabama/Georgia as a bad storm.
New video by Tropical Tidbits just dropped, he's the one who made the video in the OP of this thread...

Seems like a pretty smart dude so let's see what he says.

0:04 it is so obviously moving straight toward central FL with a very slight bend southerly.

1:20 look at all the mass down at the bottom of the storm...

And the systems to the west are doing nothing but providing it fuel and the impetus to move toward them.

1:45 see this is where I totally disagree with him...

I think it will dip under Grand Bahama and keep going west.

6:00 so he has it missing Florida and hitting Cape Hatteras.

6:18 and that's absolutely true... it will be destructive to Florida in some regard no matter what at this point.

7:35 he makes very interesting points about the Carolinas seeing this storm hit as a hurricane.

8:15 he discusses the possibility of a Cape Canaveral hit. He seems to think it will hit in the Carolinas with varying potential strength and that it will miss Florida.

He seems to think that storm surge is the biggest threat to Florida.

9:10 great points, he's right.
Similarities between Dorian and Katrina...

0:20.

Do I think this will happen? No. But I'm just saying.
