If there wasn't anything pushing on it from the north, that system in the Gulf would pull it along south Florida and into the Gulf no problem.
How much the north flow can actually affect Dorian's movement southwest is the only question.
As it stands now, if the north flow is actually strong enough to affect Dorian substantially, it'll pull it northerly for an impact around some area north of Titusville...
If it can't affect it that much then the hurricane will hit central Florida.
If it can't make a dent in it at all, then Dorian could make it over to the Gulf, but I see that as unlikely.
The north flow will probably pull Dorian northerly, but in my opinion nothing is going to spare the east coast of Florida from a direct hit by Dorian at least a category 3. Maybe cat. 2 if some kinda miracle happens.
It really has Cape Canaveral in its crosshairs in a huge, huge way.
All the Disney World normies are gonna be shitting bricks when they finally figure out what the hell is going on.
Lookner's talking about the black area on the east of the eyewall and asking if that's an "eyewall replacement"...
Well I dunno, but it's what I was talking about when I said all that shit forming in the Gulf is about to meet up with Dorian and give it even more impetus to head southwest...
By a little or a lot, doesn't really matter...
It's steering into Florida and that's all there is to it.
This animation he's showing on his feed just makes it so damn fucking obvious that it's rotating south.
Lookner is definitely great at what he does.
Twitter showing signs of censorship and keyword suppression now...

Josh Morgerman (cyclone chaser) hasn't been heard from in 11 hrs.
Lookner is saying hopefully it's just a lack of internet connection.

This is all Twitter is allowing to trend right now...
They have suppressed the #dorian hashtag/keyword.
Never seen them suppress info like this before.
Twitter's days as a useful source of populace-based reporting are basically finished now, this event proves it.

Yeah it is...
Probably gonna hit more toward Palm Bay though.
TBH the best thing that can be said about it is that it's doubtful to make it over Florida and into the Gulf as a full fledged hurricane.
Unless it goes all the way around the bottom of Florida which would require a pretty serious southerly turn, so I doubt that...
Won't be much of a southerly turn, it'll just be enough to keep it on track straight into Florida.
