Can't seem to load the site.

The fuck??

I guess I'll have to go to another site... I'll have to look back thru the thread cuz I don't have them bookmarked on this computer.
Okay here's one...

Daaaaamnnn yo...

That's a pretty shot.
SolarHam might be an even better site than SpaceWeather, but don't tell SpaceWeather I said that cuz they are my absolute OG #1 #1.

But yeah, SolarHam appears to be the ultimate sun news source. Cuz SpaceWeather covers other phenomena besides sun activity, so there is a difference between these sites.
Sol actin' up though.

Why the fuck is the SDO down??

I don't know if I've ever seen an error like that on their site, you can usually at least access the site, even if the cams aren't necessarily updating.

They're clearly having technical difficulties over there.

How convenient huh?

Odd that they haven't resolved this issue yet... should be an extremely easy and fast fix, yet nothin'.
Get your shit together, NASA, really. We need access to images of Sol.
This is not hot.
Check the timestamp...

Wild action taking place right now.
He's goin' off.
Quote:We've been waiting for this. Big sunspot AR3363 just produced a significant solar flare ... Although the explosion was not X-class, it was more powerful than many X-flares would be. Why? Because it lasted so long.

I'm glad we got some hot action out of 3363 before it disappeared around the other side.
That whole Mars Perseverance camera thingy kinda spoils the mystique about what's coming around from the far side though. I like the anticipation of a huge sunspot coming around and not knowing if there really is one or not.
I mean, it doesn't 100% ruin the surprise... only like 60%.
