"Where Have All The People Gone?" (1974)
I just watched this, it was a great made for TV movie.
1:04:00 for spoilers.
Interesting plot for sure. Never heard of that one before.
Well...
Looks like people have been hoping for the sun to deal out some justice for a hot minute...
Prolly never gonna happen. By the time it does, humanity will have probably blown ourselves up by our own devices.
Disappointing, but sometimes you just gotta keep it real.
Reminds me of Clif High's "sun disease" webbot prediction...

47:45 he addresses what is referred to as "sun disease".
Of course Clif is old and this movie came out in 1974, so maybe he'd heard of it... can't be too sure.
Either way, it's a very intriguing concept.
That movie is totally on the fringe, you'd never know about it unless you were woo-woo like Clif.
I have the faintest tan... I mean it is SLIGHT. And I never burn. It's so weird. I am pretty sure it really does have to do with the quality of your diet. If I lived on fast food and processed foods, I'd probably burn. I used to when I was a kid and that's what we lived on.
The last time I got any sunburn was when I was in the DESERT wearing a sleeveless summer dress... AKA dumb.
You don't burn if you have a good diet and you put on protective clothing before you burn.
It's 90+ degrees today, perfect temperature.
Heaven is hot, hell is cold.
Quote:There's a spot on the farside of the sun so large it is affecting the way the whole sun vibrates. Helioseismic echoes pinpoint the active region in the sun's southern hemisphere not far behind the sun's southeastern limb. It should rotate into view this weekend.

SpaceWeather talkin' to me dirty...

I feel like they overdramatize things sometimes cuz they have a sun fetish too though. But it's fine.
I love it when Sol flings it at us.
