This shit is rare. The only other subscriber base that I think is comparable to this would be the
Reviewbrah fanbase. There's definitely something wrong with that guy though, my guess is he's gonna go the way of
Featureman someday. Yikes. At least Hampton is normal, aside from his untouchable, holy aura.
This is a great example of how his general philosophy is just so on point.
I was addicted to WoW for a hot minute back in the day, and after several years I realized that I should be playing LIFE like a game, rather than actually playing a video game.
You gotta find a way to make playing life itself give you the same kind of satisfaction and motivation that a video game gives you. It sounds boring at first, but once you resolve yourself to it, you kinda don't wanna go back.

Vastly different in genre, but attracting the same audience...
Reviewbrah's fanbase is mostly dudes... and they all make a huge fuss over how "wholesome" and "innocent" John seems. When actually, anyone who is familiar with his (very old) posts on the Bodybuilding forum knows that he's actually got some dark shit going on under there.
There was a hell of a lot of overlap between Featureman's viewership and Reviewbrah's... they thought Tom was just a "wholesome" and "innocent" old man, and we know how that turned out.
A bunch of dudes who are in hardcore support of a cute, innocent looking/seeming fellow dude...

To be fair, I'm sure there are way more females in Hampton's audience than there are in Reviewbrah or Featureman's.
But the overlap is interesting.
I'm not judging dudes for having good taste though. I mean, except when it comes to Featureman's fans, my God, there's no excuse for that.
The only thing John's got going for him is a babyface, pretty eyes, and a very unusual stylistic trademark.
Who the fuck wants to watch somebody just release fast food reviews for a decade?? I want variety, like Reviewbrah said he wanted on the Bodybuilding forum... and who knows what the fuck he meant by that ;)

I rarely venture into the Reddit cesspool for any reason whatsoever but... this is worth it.
He's got a nice writing style. Some guys really don't have any linguistic game whatsoever, I can't get down with a dude who doesn't sound smart in text format. I am liking what I'm seeing with this so far.
