Some people don't like this TechLead guy because they complain that he's a "misogynist" and a narcissist, and they think he's serious with the sarcastic shit he says and he's not joking. Well guess what... he's NOT joking. He's right. He's telling the truth, often with masterful dry, deadpan delivery. He's excellent.

9:04 he's so right because anytime celebs wear these crazy outfits and jewelry at public events, they are GIVEN the outfit/jewelry... they wear it/model it and they have to give it back. It's all hardcore fakery. Then tools who are rich enough to afford the stuff actually buy it and feel part of "the club" but realistically, no one is wearing the stuff. Maybe somebody like Paris Hilton or Jeffree Star has a closet full of that shit, but they only wear it for photoshoots and at events. The rest of the time, they're bumming around in $200 tracksuits and other comfort wear. And in the case of Paris Hilton, those were sent to them for free.

I found this guy when he had under 20k subs. Anybody who is capable of living this way AND maintaining a good attitude is formidable. He's formidable.

The world belongs to people like that... he's a survivor and he's the type who would make it. That said, he was a nursing student all throughout ~2020-22 so he's probably triple vaxxed and quad boosted. It's an absolute shame because a totally unnatural, deadly trojan horse like that is the ONLY thing that could take down someone like this.

8:18 yeah things have gotten pretty bad out there. He's in the NE USA which is just a straight up horrible place for vanlife culture anyways, it basically doesn't exist there. Anywhere east of the Mississippi and you're in hostile territory.

Unfortunately, the plague of drugs and homelessness has been claiming public lands all over the country for the past few years. It's not safe to go around and do the vehicle living thing anymore like it used to be. Highway rest areas remain the safest places, even national forests and some BLM don't have that kind of safety anymore.

The solution is paid parking areas with high security and enforced limited stays like I've discussed in the past. Until that infrastructure is set up throughout the country, van dwelling isn't a good idea anymore.

I like his videos. I think the stealth aspect is really important, with the window tint or coverings. The public land areas for camping are hit or miss, some aren't as safe as others.

He's brilliant.
