Can't say much other than I'm excited about the takeover by our AI overlords, bring it on.

At the very least, it'll be a new way to die.

Pretty interesting how I basically never hear ANYONE talking about this movie.

Back in 2001, there was a promo website for the movie...

It was an AI chatbot. Pretty sure it was directly sponsored by the movie, or maybe it was just a partnership.

Supposedly the only chatbots around back then were "SmarterChild" and "ALICE"...

So I'm guessing it was probably ALICE.

Anyway, I remember talking to it, convinced it was a human and I tried to get them to trip up and admit they were an employee hired to act like they're AI.

But now I think it probably really was a chatbot.

So technically that was the first AI bot I ever talked to.

Second was Grok, and now ChatGPT.

Crazy that there was a 20+ year delay between the first bot I talked to and the second one.

I mean, think about that shit...

This tech has been around for at least 25 years and they're acting like it's new and they're all shocked by its capabilities.

What they're unveiling to us now has probably been possible since the early 2000s.

I bet they are showing us this tool at 5% of its capability, max.
