Mark Mothersbaugh

Seriously, why are Devo relevant again all of a sudden?

They had what, two decent songs?

Was anyone ever really a huge fan of Devo?

Installing Android on old computers

Seeing a lot of videos about this lately.

Why. Would. You. Even?

What kind of dumbass chooses spyware for a new desktop or laptop operating system? Linux or GTFO.

Which is totally meaningless for people who have never used Dissenter and never will...

shrug

It’s just more time invested in something that will untimately fail.

Something that isn’t even yours.

Hah, fuck that bullshit.

I’d rather just leave the internet.

Anti-gay racists don’t watch Empire. It is a contradiction in terms. Smollett’s story never made sense from the very beginning and I never believed for a second that fork-tongued liars lies.

The algorithm is still recommending videos about the Mothersbaugh brothers two years later.

I keep clicking "Not Interested" and they keep offering me more.

What did I do to trigger this vexatious fuckery?

I actually clicked on youtube so many times "Don't recommend" down the side came videos that said, "At this stage youtube will recommend absolutely anything". You are on point about this nefarious nonsense. But you can actually play with the algo AI aint so intelligent.

I wish YouTube would recommend absolutely anything other than the same few dozen videos it has been recommending for years on end.

Sometimes I'm super pleased with their recommended videos... not gonna lie.

I used to be SUPER against clicking recommended videos.

But sometimes these days I do take chances cuz I have legitimately found some really funny and good stuff by clicking recommended vids.

A few more things I've soured on since this thread was posted:

Videos about video games, game consoles, etc. It's mildly revolting to see middle-aged men still batshit obsessed with gaming. Grow up.

Videos that worship Elon Musk, SpaceX, Tesla, etc. Yeah, he's done some cool stuff, but I don't need the daily play-by-play.

The 8-Bit Guy explaining how some ancient home computer tech works, or restoring an old 486 PC or whatever. I've already studied the few 8-bit computers I'm interested in, and I'm never gonna be nostalgic about some obsolete, underpowered, energy-hogging Windows PC again.

I agree with you totally Dev except videos about video games.
Watching funnies from RDR2 is almost better than playing it.
