Honestly, the 2026 Olympics is all I'm looking forward to re: this winter. Seriously, I cannot believe the colder months are about to be upon us again. Part of me is actually excited for cooler weather this time around though, which is insane. Pretty sure I've never felt that way in my entire life.
I can relate to this. This is the first time in a LONG time I've been looking forward to winter. To putting on a long, fashionable winter coat and seeing all that white. It might be a product of watching a lot of figure skating, lol. All that ice and beauty and power and grace and artistry.
Can you imagine us being a figure skating couple? It would be fucking CHAOS on the ice. It would have flourishes of splendor and drama, but otherwise, it would be like some kind of interpretive dance, with sweepingly majestic moments of body-drama followed by hard faceplants. It would mostly be me faceplanting. I'd be holding you up like a slipping alcoholic trying to save his drink, and you would be trying to hold space for us, keeping the elegance alive above me as my teeth were shattering on the ice. LOL. It would be amazing.
