If I'm not mistaken, Yota is 40 or so, which is really inspiring because though I'm sure she's been singing and making tunes in her own country, she's only been known in the US since like 2020. I appreciate this digital age for offering opportunities to people in this new sort of online global community era where they might not have had them before. Everything in 'the industry' used to be based on youth and little else but now with all this digitized art, you can make a splash in the world... even if you're hiding behind a screen the whole time.
