The algorithm has turned against them...
It'll be just like TV stars trying to cross over into YouTube... and hey, sometimes it works out for 'em.

But when the elderly music industry execs try to cash in on this AI shit... it's gonna be a fail.

A whole new system will rise up around this, and I'm sure it'll have its problems like the old ones did.

We're just seeing the birth of a new era and I had no idea this shit was gonna go down in my lifetime.

No, the vocals on the video I posted are AI generated, you can easily tell.

I didn't look at any of the other videos on his channel.

It's cool to see that he's apparently a real dude and isn't afraid to sing by himself on camera though.

Okay. It's a pretty good ai song cover.

I think a lot of these AI generated songs are good fun, and some them even sound really great...

But there's a lot of pervy shit being generated which I guess is funny if you're like 12. Kind of obnoxious otherwise.

The main point is that this tech is so new, but it's already super powerful and creating amazing art of all kinds.

Just imagine 10 years from now, damn. Lol. Really interesting time in history.

Yeah, they are like neat tricks, ai can do.

It's crazy how Sam AND Elon are both trying to push this BS reproduction nonsense on the masses.

They work for the same entity, they're just hitting different angles.

Only reason for them to say shit like this is because they want to make sure the workforce doesn't collapse.

Most people who have kids would admit they regret it if there weren't any consequences.

But there are entirely too many consequences, and no one who has kids should ever admit that they regret it without the cover of anonymity.

I like Sam Altman.

People treat him like a cunt and I think it's unwarranted.

He's better than Elon, IMO...

He has more likeable qualities overall.

I don't dislike Elon, but I think he's got some qualities that detract points from his character.

I feel that he's hard-leaning darkside. I prefer some semblance of balance at that level of influence. It doesn't exist at that level.

I don't trust anyone famous anymore. It's all a soft gatekept shitshow of nonsense. Anyone truly interesting and self-aware is shadow banned.

It's all theater. All the podcasts that feature super-famous guests are pure theater. There's nothing honest about them. They're manipulative and gross.

Comedy is used to give us the virus wrapped in a dog-treat.

Anyone who is coping for the government and/or billionaires at this point is projecting their own goodness onto them, imo.

The charade is ending, or has ended, and they're at the point where they're knowingly lying while knowing that we know they are knowingly lying. It's not even gaslighting at this point, it's just pure theater. Maybe it has been all along.

All the in-fighting, with members of congress yelling at Patel, it's all fucking horseshit. They're all in bed together. It's so stupidly obvious.

They depend on young people to mold. We used to walk the earth for centuries. Now we get cycled out for new, moldable youth.

It's fucking horrific what greed for power has done to this world.

I hope one of these incoming comets is some kind of super-angel who arrives to shine a light on corruption, and weed out all the bad actors, and wipe out like half the planet--anyone who is not at least making an effort to lead with love.

I'm not cherry picking. It's all gross.

Louis CK is a guy who asked to masturbate in front of women who were trying to make a name for themselves within the professional field, either on the set of the Chris Rock Show, or the set of a TV pilot, and the thing people seem to miss is that his intentions were borderline sadistic, and now he's pedaling some book that he wrote, but people nevertheless still think he's funny. It's because he is funny.

Van Gogh cut his ear off and mailed it to the whore he was stalking, then shot himself in a cornfield, and people nevertheless find his work to be magnificent, because it is.

Sam Altman probably floats the heads of puppies down a river while laughing heartily (I kid), but he says interesting things and is at the forefront of what is probably the most incredible breakthrough in technology in the history of the human race, so his takes are about as meaningful as it gets on the subject.

The second half of that new Louis CK video with Theo Von (Dropped this morning), Louis Dives heavily into the misconduct scandal, and talks about his psychedelic therapy and going to an addiction group (like Alcoholics Anonymous), and not masturbating for several months; he seems to have a very acute realization of what he did wrong, and it’s the first time I’ve heard him wax this deeply And genuinely on  the subject.

Man I was a huge Louis CK fan back in the day... loved his stand up and both sitcoms- the excellent "Louis" and also the Honeymooners style one with Jim Norton lol... but damn after the weird jerk off stories have hardly been able to look at the dude.
Watching older graybeard Louis tho... seems like a generally OK guy- smart and funny as ever.
Didn't watch long enough to hear the story of his aggressive jerk off habits tho lol really not interested... but god bless Theo.

I gotta be honest with you, I have felt the exact same way about Louis CK for YEARS... and I hadn't even heard about any jerk off stories.

But you know what, the guy IS brilliant and hilarious. I do enjoy him.

He's not the first comedian that randomly started to give me the heebie jeebies either though, there was an even worse case of it some years back...

I went NUTS over that guy in the beginning, but then without any type of incident that I can really point to, he started to totally freak me out to the point that I remember being embarrassed I ever even made that thread.

Louis CK is way funnier than that guy though.

Don't we all? I have a very close (super-hot) friend who just got his degree from a university that specializes in holistic psychology, with a strong emphasis on ketamine therapy. He himself is a patient of that therapy, and I think it's really cool that he's going into a field from one side of the fence, when he knows succinctly about the other side from raw and direct experience. I wish there were more examples of this in the world.
