so it's kinda up now... it's been a fairly hilarious shitshow, but at this point i'm able to produce NFTs for my own wallet, even if the marketplace is borked.

it's just fantastic how easy and cheap this is. i love it.

I'm gonna have to get my ass on there today. I gotta get out of bed first, which is a special challenge after the Tarantino Twilight Zone fest that was my life yesterday... I'm fucking sore all over.

LOL, well it's an absolute trainwreck so far...

But man is it ever promising.

Damn I'm excited, this is the WAY to mint some NFTs right here.

I had to give up trying to start a collection or mint anything... Genba if you see this, can you tell me if it's just me or if it's fucked up for everybody?? One of the pages on the site says they've temporarily stopped listings or something, but the message never fully loaded. I dunno, it's kind of a clusterfuck and I kept getting this red error message box but it didn't even say anything. Is it just me?!

yes, it's been all sorts of fucked since alleged launch window. i was up all day watching, shitposting in the discord, i had a pretty good time.

wasted several bits of SOL with failed NFT txs and failed collection txs but shit, i've lost so much crypto at this point this lil bit of like maybe $2 just makes me laugh.

i'm not sure how much longterm faith i have in solsea. it seems to have been started as all.art protocol... something about another token and VR art galleries... something in the EULA type thing with solsea that they can use what you put there in other places, miiiiiight could be a harvesting point of images for their own later agenda. idk. all i really care about is that i was able to use a very solid and promising [and appreciating rapidly] token to make some of my sun images into NFTs and have them in my own wallet. these should be able to be transferred to any other SOL marketplace in the future.

it did load my wallet and sync my nfts very fast now that i just got up and checked.

Ohhhh, shit... that makes me ever so slightly suspicious.

SOL seems like it's here to stay, so I don't have concerns about it on that front, but I'll have to consider what I really want to mint on here, and what I should save for another platform.

Thanks so much Genba. This is pretty damn amazing regardless.

the thing people do these days, apparently, is to pave out a road and then bribe people to bring the cars. that is to say, they make the protocol, chain, and token, then they do hackathons to bribe people to actually make their shit useful.

that's what solsea is, and all.art, hackathon projects. lots of these dissolve away... some become really big.

not a huge fan of how chains rely on this. theta is doin the same thing.
