If you are at a moderate or high likelihood, you could be developing or are already impacted by a Personality Disorder. To ensure your good health and safety, you should meet with a mental health professional to receive an official diagnosis.

Oh shit?!?!?!?!?

I dunno, I was just taking this quiz to try and see if it'd give me some kinda SPECIFIC disorder, not just some general ass answer I already knew.

The closest thing I've been able to figure out is 'ultra rapid cycling bipolar' or some other kinda shit that takes place throughout the day instead of by the week/month.

I was thinking I could have Borderline Personality Disorder but apparently a fear of abandonment is like a huge part of BPD and I don't have that at all.

I'm gonna keep looking for a better quiz that might actually give me some idea of what the psych industry calls my particular flavor of crazy.

This is a good one.

I just answered a question "the wrong way" and got a popup saying I need immediate help. LOL.

Oh man...

These results are too personal, I'm not copy/pasting any of that.

This one might be promising...

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/tests...assessment

Substance Use Disorder 0%

Major Depressive Disorder 38%

Manic Episodes 24%

Bipolar Disorder 48%

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder 43%

Generalized Anxiety Disorder 53%

Panic Disorder 29%

Panic Attacks 21%

It's all over the place...

This is why I just don't even bother to see a mental health professional... there's no way these people could help me.

I'm not trying to suggest that I really think I have any serious mental illness or anything.

But I meeeaaaaannnnn...

The thought has crossed my mind, and I have at times thought maybe it'd be cool if I could see a professional.

I just have no faith in 'em though.

Quote:If there are four mood episodes within a month, it is called ultra-rapid cycling, and when several mood switches occur within a day, on several days during one week, it is called ultra-ultra-rapid, or ultradian cycling. Typically, however, someone who experiences such short mood swings has longer episodes as well.

See, I just can't take it seriously at all.

Modern psychology is built on a foundation of shit.

I just see a lot of lines of really important questioning totally absent from any of these quizzes I've looked at so far.

Hmmm, I think we're getting warmer...

https://www.idrlabs.com/3-minute-schizoid/test.php

Quote:Very Strong Indication of Schizoid Personality

Your answers suggest a very strong indication of schizoid personality disorder. You may find that you tend to detach from social relationships and show little interest in others; that you have a restricted range of expression of emotions; and that you take little pleasure in common social activities. In clinical contexts, your case would probably warrant active treatment in the form of psychotherapy and/or behavioral intervention. Group and family support might also be in order. If you feel that you answered these questions truthfully, it is important that you schedule an appointment with your doctor or a mental health professional who can assist you in making a proper diagnosis.

All of those questions were pretty much a yes and I've never seen one of these quizzes that asked more pertinent questions to my situation.

I just don't really know what their 'schizoid' claims even really mean though, like what does that even mean?

All these labels in the psych industry are just so ridiculous.

You have got very high points so it means you are suffering from Schizoid personality disorder.

Yeeeaaaah, I dunno, sounds to me like they're just eager to label introverts as crazy...

shrug

Quote:Presence of Schizoid Personality Disorder symptoms: 75.00%

Moderate to high Schizoid Personality Disorder

Based on your answers you seem to be undergoing moderate to high levels of Schizoid Personality Disorder. There are important Schizoid Personality Disorder symptoms that bother you. However if you are worried about certain Schizoid Personality Disorder symptoms or feelings you may search a professional assessment of your mental health. Please note that only a licensed professional has the authority to officially diagnose an individual with Schizoid Personality Disorder symptoms.

Meh, I dunno...

I kinda wanna call BS on this.

Seems like they're just demonizing people who like to be alone and don't trust other people.

I see that as NORMAL.

This one asked good questions, again labels me as high risk of schizoid disorder...

So now I am gonna have to go and find out what the fuck they claim "schizoid" even is.

Quote:Schizoid personality disorder is characterized by a pervasive pattern of detachment from and general disinterest in social relationships and by expression of few emotions in relationships.

https://www.merckmanuals.com/home/mental...y-disorder

So that's what they say it is.

I meeean.

Again, just sounds like demonizing introverts to me.

But...

It's pretty accurate.

Quote:Schizotypal personality disorder is characterized by a pervasive pattern of intense discomfort with and reduced capacity for close relationships, by distorted ways of thinking and perceiving, and by eccentric (odd) behavior.

https://www.merckmanuals.com/home/mental...y-disorder

Sounding like me.

https://www.idrlabs.com/3-minute-schizotypal/test.php

Oh God man. These questions are way more on point than any other quiz I've seen yet, they're like all yes answers and kind of specific too.

Quote:Very Strong Indication of Schizotypal Personality Disorder

Your answers suggest a very strong indication of schizotypal personality disorder. You may find that you have persistent eccentric behavior, few close relationships, inappropriate emotional responses, social anxiety, incorrect interpretation of events, paranoid thoughts, and/or a belief in special powers. In clinical contexts, your case would probably warrant active treatment in the form of psychotherapy. Family support might also be in order. If you feel that you answered these questions truthfully, it is important that you schedule an appointment with your doctor or a mental health professional who can assist you in making a proper diagnosis.

Yuuuuup.

Again, questions totally on point and relevant to my life.

Quote:Your Total Score: 48 out of 97

Based upon your responses to this schizophrenia screening measure, you appear to have some signs commonly associated with schizophrenia or a schizophrenia-related disorder. Your responses are similar to others who experience symptoms of schizophrenia or a schizophrenia-related disorder. This includes symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, disorganized speech, and/or emotional "flattening."

Scoring:
0-9 No schizophrenia
10-13 Possibility of early schizophrenia
14+ Early schizophrenia

Well at least it's just early.

I notice they ask a lot of questions about psychic ability/precognition etc. and I think that's unfair because it's basically assuming that psychic ability isn't real.

I think that's pretty biased and it's BS.

This is the problem with the psych industry and that's why I just don't bother with 'em.

If I really had a serious problem, I wouldn't be aware of it...

Crazy people don't tend to think they're crazy, I mean as a general rule.

I see "blunted affect" mentioned a lot in these schizoid and schizophrenia symptoms lists.

I did experience blunted affect for the first time in my life last year when I was hearing all the voices in random stuff...

https://www.sectual.com/thread-17495.html

That did go away though.

The people planning and plotting to kill me thingy is definitely the biggest issue I've run into lately, but the thing is like...

They REALLY ARE out to get me though.

I'm not gonna just act like it's ALL ME and it's ALL in my head and I'm wrong.

But then the questions about psychic ability and thinking you can read peoples' minds and shit??

Hmmm...

I gotta tell ya.

I'll just say this...

If I've been wrong about the shit I've experienced recently, then yeah, I AM fucking crazy and I do need help.

But it's like one of those things that you can't 100% PROVE.

So there's no way to know for sure.

Which is enough to make you think you're losing your mind in and of itself.

I dunno.

I'm gonna shelve the whole idea for now...

But I gotta say, some of the signs of mental illness are definitely there, and I can think back to similar other times in my life when this has been a problem too.

Like extreme paranoia toward people, believing certain extremely warped things are true about people/situations...

I can't deny that I have a history of this.

And I don't trust 'em, and I also think the whole thing is a grand conspiracy, sooo...
