February 24, 2021...

Whoever put that in there had to know about this site. There's no way you're gonna make an Urban Dictionary entry without Googling that shit first, and there's no way you're gonna come across this site during that search and then just proceed as normal, lmfao!!!!!!!!!!

It's so funny... everyone who comes up with this pun thinks it's like the most brilliant thing ever in that moment. I can totally relate. It's fucking hilarious and when I saw the domain name was free in 2013 I couldn't believe my luck.

Crafty fun with linguistics is one of my favorite parts of the cumbersome clusterfuck that is human communication.

That's what I thought too man... honestly, it tends to be generally right on. Especially about names. Search your name or somebody else's name on there and it's like eerily accurate.

I don't get the "potato" joke.

Like when you ask a question and someone answers "because potato."

Or people putting "potato" in their username for no apparent reason.

This Urban Dictionary entry is no help at all.

Yeah it was one of those memes that are more annoying than they are fun.

It's been used excessively by the same uppity fucks who always bitch about low video picture quality...

That means that it's a certain TYPE of people who gravitate toward it...

And generally it's the type of people who suck.

I'm just saying.

I actually avoid a tech channel on YouTube because the channel name is annoying and strikes me as plain dumb.

TechTechPotato. What the fuck does that even mean?

I think the guy is British.

Ever watch a British aspie talk about technology? They describe or explain everything in mind-numbingly dull detail. There are no jump cuts, nor any other edits, to winnow out irrelevant minutiae and keep things moving. They make you suffer through every tedious minute of whatever procedure they're performing.

You will slit your wrists the correct way if you watch too many of them.

Yeah it's interesting man, there tend to be a certain kind of British people who take the strangest shit MEGA seriously.

But if you think about it, that's the kind of stuff experts, inventors, etc. have to pay attention to, so it does make sense.

It's hilarious to see a Brit with a John Denver haircut get deadly serious about toy computers such as the Raspberry Pi.
