Dexter: Review & Commentary
I have a great pic of a fat version of my brother that I like to haunt him with on occasion. And a friend got another one that is freakin uncanny... it gets texted to us randomly maybe every other year

Would be very freaked out to find the same voice, personality etc! Have only encountered visuals.

Lololol.

LOL.

I'm so glad this archetype/doppleganger phenomenon is more common than I thought.

Type of thing makes me feel like I'm crazy when I experience it.

Well, I AM crazy but you know what I mean.

Maybe it's just cuz we're ALL related at a certain point...

Like you go back far enough and everybody shares a relative at some point, right??

Then again bro I dunno if I believe that either.

That only works if you DON'T think we were created by aliens splicing monkeys with their own DNA...

Oh my God dude, I feel like it's my bedtime. For real.

I think it's time to get in bed and watch Ancient Apocalypse.

The most obvious reason for the cancellation of Original Sin is cuz MCH didn't wanna narrate it anymore.

If he had continued narrating it, he'd be working on Dexter year round. Ain't nobody got time for that.

He's referred to the times in between filming Dexter as being "tied to those railroad tracks and that train is coming"...

21:36.

Doesn't make the whole nine sound like a boatload of fun or anything.

Pretty interesting stuff, like I said in a previous post, it's a job and most people don't like their jobs. It is what it is.

Bottom line, the fans (AND the actors) need to get the hell over Original Sin being canceled. You can only ask so much of one person.

I like studying the psychology of famous people because they're living a very unique experience as human beings.

I don't think enough of them have been honest about what it's REALLY like, and considering the fact that it would likely negatively impact their careers IF THEY DID...

I get why nobody's said anything.

There have been memoirs which have addressed the topic to some degree, but I'm not sure any of them have actually gone gloves off.

"Complaining" about the impacts of fame would likely be viewed as classless by any majorly successful/respected actor or musician.

Personally, I would appreciate the perspective. I hope that someday, a MEGA FAMOUS person has an autobiography published before they die and they just go balls to the wall describing the effects fame REALLY had on their lives.

Was their enjoyment of life impeded? Were their personal connections with others permanently altered in a negative way? Was it all worth it?

Give us the good and the bad. Give us insight into this unique experience you have lived as an individual.

I'd like to see this out of someone like Bob Dylan, an unimaginable level of fame that even other famous people don't fully understand.

But I'll take whatever insight we can get out of any of 'em, even the ones who were just "moderately" famous in comparison to cultural giants like Bob.

These people are HUMAN BEINGS. We need to know how their lives are being effected by fame. Mental state, the state of personal relationships, etc.

It always reminds me of Michael Jackson, alone in his own floor of a Las Vegas hotel, looking out the window to hoards of screaming fans below...

He felt alone. We need to have compassion for that experience.

Of course EVERYONE feels alone, at least at one point or another.

But most people can go to the grocery store without getting their photo taken or being recognized by fans who then proceed to behave in the litany of ways that human beings behave in the first place...

There's a difference in these experiences, and we need to know about the impacts of that difference.

Most people just thought this was funny, but it's not.

Regardless of the words Justin chose to express his feelings, his experience in that moment was negative and I am sure this happens to him all the time.

It's very sad.
