I found some info on Zane . I searched Texas state prison and Alaska state prisons. He is not there. I found a recent arrest in Tarrant county Texas. I will post below.

The source you got that info from is a crawler/reposter spambot essentially... be careful clicking links like that. Look at the URL, if it's not official, don't click it. It only said Jan. 2021 because that's when it got reposted from the original gov. site.
There's no new info about Zane.
It should be very easy to check if Zane is in jail or prison regardless. Doubt he is dead.
