I think it's probably a tough position for her to be in since she used to travel a lot and post interesting stuff.
The problem is that she just really doesn't share much of her life, and if she wants to pop off on YouTube again, she's gotta share more of her life.

Yeah. I actually unsubbed her when she first moved into am apartment, and started making the new style of advice videos. I only recently resubbed out of curiosity, and I like her personality too.
She doesn't really even try in her videos now. That makes me think she is more than friends with all these guys she's been living with, which is cool.
If you don't wanna share any aspects of your personal life, then why have a YouTube channel where you're the focal point?? I just dunno why she doesn't show us what her life is actually like. But it's all good.

It's funny you say that cuz I was gonna say that one of the reasons why people may not really share their personal lives on their channels is if they're married and they have to deal with all the obnoxious limitations, restrictions, and time sinks that come along with having a "partner" in life.
Katie doesn't have that (?) nor does she have any kids, so... what's stopping her from just hanging out with her audience and showing us her day to day?? Even when she lived alone in an apartment, I feel like she STILL didn't really show us her life.
