Not sure what that word fetishists means, but my family and friends all love sustainability so of course they prefer used socks.
And coincidentally they are also big fans of this channel! Every year I get sore fingers from sewing "worn by Katie" tags into dollar general store socks and handing them out as gifts on Earth Day. Folks are always thrilled, and I don't feel too guilty faking them out, because in my mind new socks are better. But that's just my opinion and I keep it to myself.
However this seems like a great chance to get the genuine article and it could make things a little easier for me this year.

I do notice the socks are clean and neatly folded. I really don't think that's necessary. If you want to wear each pair several times it'd be fine, and no need to bother wasting water on washing. It's good to be environmentally conscious, and I want everyone to have an authentic experience this year! If you could please spend the next couple of weeks walking or running and then use overnight shipping before the 20th that would be best, as our annual celebration is fast approaching and I want it to be the best ever!

Fucking exactly, and the joy of purchasing used socks is of course making sure the print of the foot wore in nicely. I like to make sure the used socks I purchase have a nice finish of dirt and other soily elements from the natural environment the wearer occupies. It makes me feel more well traveled. I would imagine this is important to Katie's whole community, considering the subject of her channel is indeed travel.

And I dunno if you guys know this or not, but it's good luck and protection from accidents of all types if you put each freshly laundered sock over your hand and use it to dry your genital region before you actually put them on.
I do this at least twice daily and I haven't tripped/rolled/skidded down an entire hillside in at least a couple years.
