Jordan has stated how fearful she was that if her escape didn't bring help, her parents would kill her.

The scary thing about cases like this is we only hear about the ones who get discovered. This has happened to thousands of children and it's probably happening right this moment, and we might not hear about it for years, if it even gets discovered at all.

It's incredible that even with a very limited vocabulary (due to the conditions she lived) and no outside experience she manages to handle the situation really well. She is such a wonderful and smart woman.

Her voice has changed so much in four years. It just goes to show how much the abuse just stunted their growth both physically and emotionally.

I can't believe she was 17 during that call. She sounds like a young child. I can’t imagine the horror she and her siblings lived through.

Just listening to her vocabulary while she is desperately trying to explain her thoughts/emotions with what she's been taught and learned — it's just heartbreaking.

She said "I've never talked to anybody out there" to the deputy. The fact that she said "out there" just shows she never ever went outside. Absolutely heartbreaking.

She didn't know what medication, bruises or injuries were. This is a tragedy of epic proportions. I gotta say that I'm proud of her for taking control of how this could end. All survivors should be proud & glad to see another survivor grab the reins.

I truly can't get over that she's 33 here. She looks sounds and has the innocence of a teenager, and yet she's so broken and traumatized. Bless her sweet heart.

The damage from anorexia is a lot different from the deterioration of starving to death...

When you stay in that state for as long as Eugenia has, the body eats away at itself in places where it normally wouldn't just because there's so much more time involved with anorexia.

It's just horrific, and she is definitely going to die.

It's a fucking tragedy.

Someday there will be documentaries about this, and everyone will see Eugenia similarly to the way they saw Karen Carpenter...

A very powerful person has stepped into Eugenia's life in an attempt to love and inspire her toward better health.

For the first time, I think hope for Eugenia's recovery is in sight.

If anyone can truly touch her life in a blessed way, it would be this person.

That said, at the end of the day...

We are all involved in this grand cosmic dance, and we all have our own choices to make.

We all agreed to have these experiences before we came here, and no one really knows another soul's reasons for what they choose.

The best thing to do is to love people while they're here, and respect that every soul has its own goal and path.

So...

I'm not sure how well the quest to help Eugenia is going.

The bottom line is that she only has one mode...

It's the constant "livestreamer" persona.

No matter where she is or what she's doing, she is always full on, like she's in front of the camera even if she's not.

There is no other Eugenia. What we see is who she is 24/7.

I don't think the people trying to help her expected that to be the case.

From what I can tell, people almost wish that she WAS fake, that it really was all an act and that her mask would slip and she would just unleash some kind of inner cunt she's been hiding.

But unfortunately, it seems like she's been taking refuge in livestreaming for so many years that she has completely disappeared into it.

On one hand, it's great that she found something to get her through and make her feel safe. The bad side of it is that she can't function any other way now, and she's become totally lost in it.

It's causing frustration with people around her because they can't break through it, they can't get through to "the real" Eugenia. She won't "get real" and talk some real shit.

Cuz I don't think she actually can.

Now that's not to say there isn't a snotty side of Eugenia that she hides from her audience whenever possible. There's a snotty side, but it never comes close to the mask slipping. It's not a mask. It's her whole identity now. This is it.

No one seems to be able to get to anything deeper underneath it all. And I don't think it's a matter of trust. I don't think it would make a difference how much she trusted somebody... she can't get deeper and "get real" because this is all there is.

People thought there was something to get through to, but there isn't. She was so developmentally stunted by a childhood likely full of abuse, then she found a way to escape (online) whilst still being imprisoned, and she NEVER got to develop in the real world.

It's sad, but I think it all goes too deep for even the MOST qualified, patient and caring people to deal with. It's proving to be a very frustrating, annoying, confounding situation. It's just not a very common thing. Eugenia's got a very bad case of it, and it's been going on for so long that only a straight up miracle could fix it.

So I think there could still be hope for Eugenia, but it's gonna take divine intervention. This job is too big for mere mortals.

This is what I wish. It would be preferable for Eugenia to be diabolical and totally evil underneath it all, because then at least things would MAKE SENSE. At least then there would be some type of closure. But when you can't reach someone and you can't get through to them AT ALL, there's no closure and that is a painful situation for the people who actually care about her.

I have some new conclusions about her mom though...

I think her mom is low key developmentally disabled and that SHE was preyed upon by Eugenia's dad who saw her as a great opportunity to start a family.
