One thing's for sure: They've already far surpassed George Costanza-levels
of commitment with this thing. It almost doesn't even matter what this
is really about, it's THAT bad.

Well said...

That is how I feel about it too.

Whatever their plan is I think they'll take it all the way.

It's looking like a coup is involved here.

Steve seems hella confounded that China's national government hasn't released numbers today...

And I put forth that it could be because China's national government has fallen...

shrug

But hey I'm not a rocket scientist or anything.

Quote:Some quick thoughts on Hubei's party chief Jiang Chaoliang being replaced by Ying Yong, mayor of Shanghai.

Replacing a provincial level party chief, instead of the governor, is rare, esp b4 the crisis ends. Very rare and spks volumes of the crisis;

Many have noted both Ying Yong, Hubei's new party boss and Chen Yixin, dispatched from Beijing to co-lead Wuhan ground team, are Xi's proteges. But please also mind their extensive background in security. They are experts of maintaining stability;

They just announced Wang Zhonglin from Shandong will replace the current Wuhan party chief Ma Guoqiang. Wang, too, had been a police officer for 20 yrs.

Another one fell today: Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office Zhang Xiaoming has been replaced Xia Baolong. While the news might be much celebrated in HK. Plz be reminded of Xia's role in tearing down numerous crosses from Zhejiang's churches.

The reshuffles today might not be as jaw-dropping as the US's Halloween Massacre in 1975, but taking the China factor into consideration, we can at least call it the Valentines Massacre?

Major moves being made by China under the guise of this virus crisis.

God only knows how far they're gonna take it.
a cynical part of me feels like this was the end game all along, a loyalty purge masquerading as a health crisis.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised, but in the same token I do think there has to be some level of a real health crisis happening.

The moves China has made are extreme, with worldwide consequences... whatever they're doing is one for the history books no matter what.

I feel bad for Hong Kong.

These are the worst possible people to get infected.

Is China planning to take over all of these people?

I mean, we've been talking about it for years and years...

But now it seems like it's here and it doesn't look like we expected.

I have very little to compare this situation to and am not entirely sure what is glaringly obvious that I'm missing here.

It sure is a bad time to be a Westerner living in any of these Asian countries...

It all came tumbling down pretty fast, and unless you were a woke son of a bitch, you wouldn't have seen in coming.

It's not realistic to think they should have all heard the warning bells and caught a flight back to the US, etc. when they had the chance.

I've been in Asia, wanting the fuck out and hoping to God I'd be able to get back home...

It's not a wonderful position to be in...

But the fact is, I did the smart thing and left as soon as I figured out the truth about those places (and their governments), and it didn't take me long.

I feel bad for anyone who's stuck where they don't wanna be...

But a lot of those expats bitterly hate the west, and if they wanna come back now that there's a crisis and those commie Asian governments aren't being so friendly anymore...

I say too bad.

You should have seen the error of your ways sooner and realized the west is the best. But you had to be ridiculous instead.

That's what a lot of them get...

They went over to Asia to treat the women like shit, along with their local governments treating them all like shit, and now all the fucking traitors and abusers are getting what they deserve.

Expats living over in Asia are almost always creepy, sleazy embarrassments, and damn near gay as hell ironically. We really don't want them back...

shrug

They went over there and chose to stay rather than running like hell once they saw the state of things between the governments and their people. They just can't be all that bright, and I don't see how they're at all useful to the west.

If they did plan the release in conjunction with the Chinese New Year in order to carry the virus to all corners of the earth, it's all very symbolic since 2020 is the Year of the Rat, and historically rats are known to carry the plague via fleas etc.

3:10 so true, just like in the 1918 Spanish Flu when the workers were so swamped that they stopped recording details about the dead. I posted that documentary here: http://www.sectual.com/thread-16297-post...#pid107942

6:50 he addresses the apparent lack of springback with this virus.

15:20 since Clif is a very smart dude, I don't love hearing this kinda stuff from him, but it is what it is.

Just a terrible situation and I really hope it all turns out to be BS.

16:08 whether the virus is real or not, this finger pointing/blame aspect of things is definitely real and it's enough to lead to war... worst part of this situation by far in my opinion. And I've been following it closely for a long time now, given it a lot of thought.

China is already warring with its people and the surrounding areas on certain levels... it's not as if the Chinese people are safe. Very sad.

16:50 he makes interesting points about the Chinese internet re: discussion of this situation.

19:00 he addresses the need to be very considerate with any travel plans around April. Essentially travel could be shut down and people will end up trapped wherever they are.

19:50 interesting statements re: the possibility of this being a bioweapon.

26:15 he addresses the inaccuracy of the tests, and actually no, those issues have not been corrected... so I disagree with him there.

29:10 he starts talking about his opinion of the timeline with this virus going forward.

32:05 China may be issuing earplugs... so goggles, masks, and ears are entry points.

35:00 he addresses chaga mushroom as an antiviral agent among other benefits.

37:28 he says the HIV inclusions may be this virus's weakness.

38:00 lol I love Clif.

40:20 he addresses the vaccine issue.
