Period. So it's really sad to think anybody out there is going to any type of spiritual figure with this problem.

Re: Teal's "cult", as soon as they hear that someone's suicidal, they shouldn't take them on at all. Instead, they should have some resources & info pamphlets with all the different methods of contacting professionals... the suicide hotline, certified online 'chats' for suicidal crisis/emergency, numbers that can be contacted via text message (so many these days are unable to actually speak to anyone, it's too scary, so text is NECESSARY), local resources, hospital addresses and numbers, etc. NEVER take on anyone who expresses suicidality... give them the info to contact professionals, end of story.

So the fact that Teal would think she was at all qualified (on any level) to help someone struggling with suicidal thoughts/intentions... that shows that she herself is totally nuts. And that would be fine. It'd be fine for Teal to be totally nuts. But if she thinks she can help suicidal people, um no. Then she's just a danger to others, but on a very touchy and totally nuanced level, which is hella tricky to deal with. That is to say... HER intentions may not even be BAD. But because she's nuts, it doesn't matter if her intentions are bad/good... she needs to be labeled clearly as "Crazy Person" so that people know, her usefulness has its limits. Got suicide problems? Go to a mental health professional. Do not go to Teal Swan or ANYONE else... because all another person should do for you is CONTACT mental health professionals. If they do ANYTHING else, beware. Cut out the middle man and get emergency help yourself. Save time, save energy, save effort, and just contact emergency services.

I think this Jared guy needs more mental help (get better, and maybe help others someday professionally), and I think Teal is obviously totally insane. Does that negate any of the things they say (such as universal truths) that are just fact? Um, no. Those things are still true, regardless of the messenger. The point here is, do you like the messenger or not? I've always found Teal enjoyable. She's decent. Perfect? No. Crazy as fuck? Yes. Guilty of lying? Probably, to some degree. Using dudes? Um, yeah.
