Oh, and MO, was that the Indy 500 Carb Day Live version you meant?
If so, yeah, good stuff! You can tell that dude was born for that shit.
Not just Journey but singing in general. Naturally gifted.

Yeah dude that's the one...
I've been listening to it a few times every day.
It's just unbelievable man.
Sigh...
I feel really inspired by Arnel and just think he's shared such a great gift with the world.

DUDE I FUCKING KNOWWWWWWWWW.
I'm literally fucking screaming inside because I can't get the song out of my head.
And it's mostly because I never could understand what the fuck the words were with Steve singing it...
So now that I know the words, I'm OBSESSING ON IT SOOOOOOOO HARD.
Agh.
Dude.
This song has low key ruined my life.
I mean, I love it but...
I'm starting to think I need help...

Steve don't even try to sound like Steve when he's live.
I'm not saying he's not great...
I'm just sort of saying from what I can tell, Arnel wasn't really trying to parrot Steve.

The last time a song effected me on a deep emotional level like Arnel's 2016 version of "Open Arms" was earlier in the year when I heard this...
I legit cried like a bitch over this song...
These lyrics of these songs, I feel, are the type that take some life maturity/experience to really come to appreciate.
You have to know the bad before you can truly appreciate the good.

It's hard to think about Whitney without crying.
It's disgusting how they paraded her downfall on a goddamned reality show.
What the hell was Bobby Brown thinking?

That one hit having motherfucker wasn't even in the same league with Whitney. This is how it should've gone down:
Bobby: Marry me, baby.
Whitney: N!99@, please.

Yeah, it was probably gonna be hard enough for her to keep on the
straight & narrow even w/o Bobby. Fucked up industry.

Someone tried to tell me once, as though to exonerate Bobby, that Whitney was a crackhead before she started her successful music career.
Riiiiiiiight. A crack ho was disciplined enough to put in the work and rise to the top.

From what I remember, she was steeped in a VERY religious family/upbringing.
Drugs can happen anytime, but I doubt she was a "rockstar" before her fame hit.

Yeah, I heard she grew up singing in the church choir.
