Elon's changed the Twitter icon to the Dogecoin dog, he's trying to implant it into people's subconscious mind.

Whenever you click anything on Twitter, the page loads in a flash, so now the Dogecoin pic shows right in the middle lightning fast instead of the Twitter symbol.

It's pretty clever really.

Elon claims he's been online since 1990 and I think it's pretty interesting because a lot of people in his age group will talk about being online in the 80s and shit.

I've been online since I was a little kid in 1996... as you can see from the graph, that was the first year that shows a spike of users coming online.

We started out on the "regular internet" then went over to WebTV then back to the "regular" internet again. That's the way I remember it. WebTV was a learning curve early on in my internet addiction and I felt kinda WTF about it, but I got used to it. It was nice to go back to using a normal computer again though. I think we'd ceased use of WebTV by like 1999.

My biggest memory with WebTV was emailing with a relative.

His name was Frank, and I know he was related to my maternal Grandma, but I genuinely don't know who he was.

I remember him being called "Uncle Frank" and I think it was HER uncle. So I dunno what that would have made him to me.

He was SUPER old and I don't remember a ton about what the heck we talked about, but I was like 7 or something.

We were pen pals for a while, cuz back then it was all about taking the snail mail concept digital.

I had a few pen pals, there was a girl from Massachusetts that I wrote back and forth with those multi-color ink pens, the ones with like 5 different pens in one.

She was a real person too, no catfish kinda shit going on there.

They were interesting times... now the whole "pen pal" concept is considered archaic again and the pen pal aspect is sorta just built in to the whole internet at this point.
